Nobuo Uematsu's goodbye to the Final Fantasy series. 1.0 was his last full-time project before it was handed over to Soken.
Remembrance really hits in multiple ways.
Go figure my favorite variant of the prelude theme is from a game that no longer exists. :') Part of me wishes they stuck with 1.0 and just continued to make it better. I miss the combat, larger zones and of course the animations.
Of course this calming one has to be changed to the EPICZ MUH BLARING ORKESTRA one, which also loops a lot faster.
Best Prelude ever made I miss this title screen and the bgm so much 🙁
