I actually used to be a lalafell but at some point during the game people started petting me and calling me adorable afterwards i became the dragon race and didn't really like the horns i chose and eventually i started over with a friend thinking it be fun now I'm the rabbit race female version and have been having fun
I'm Elzen Male and…I absolutely love playing as one. I main a WHM on Crystal Diablos I'm Aoi Mizu so if ya see me around come and say hi I don't bite.
To be honest, if bunboys didn't come to be, I would have continued suffering from fantasia addiction by jumping from catboy to femroe, back and forth. I am bunboy and… I can't tell you how liberating is it NOT to feel the need to fantasia. At least, that feeling has dropped by ~95%. I still have urges to fantasia but that's mostly because I want to see my femroe and catboy version of my current character again ;-;. I miss them, they were both pretty and cute. I will definitelly fantasia when hrothgals come out because I am very curious to see. But chance is that maybe after 1 MSQ finish, I will fantasia back to bunboy and do it again xD
I have made an elezen alt but with a specific style in mind. I managed to make 'it' only with it and I am happy. If there were a statistics of which race face is used the least, I guess I would win for viera (Face4) and for my elezen alt as well (old man face 4)…. heck, even the male Au Ra Face4 is goddang handsome… Or maybe it's just the horns.
Can’t say that I’m too surprised tbh. I do think about what I see whenever I’m in Radz too. I wonder what it looks like for raiders specifically. Prob similar but I feel like I see more hrothgar in Radz than anywhere else tbh.
Also the creator point was funny haha I feel even though I’m a midlander, it would be fun to see more bun bois tbh
I hope the census updates sometime soon – the most recent data on there is from January 2022, over a year and a half ago now. Not to mention, this doesn't take in the entire Dynamis DC into account – and I feel like with all the newer players since Jan 2022 in general, certain numbers have to be higher now. For example, bunboys had only been out for about six months at the time this data was pulled. I swear there have to be more by now.
I also fantasia'd from a bun girl to a bun boi, haven't looked back.
I always feel like some endagered species as a female Duskwight. Female Elezen are rare enough, but somehow everyone shuns the cave dwellers especially for some reason.
Femroes and Fembuns. That's it. With my bunboi.
We just need more customization at the end of the day. So the less popular races would be played more… Maybe add an option for neck lenght for Elezen, just sayin'.

Can someone help me out? What hairstyle does the character in the thumbnail have? Is it a viera only hairstyle?
Honestly I would probably play a Hrothgar if they weren't so limited in customisation. There are so little face options and hair option combos that all Hrothgar end up looking the same. Also the fact that the colour options with both their fur and hair are really strange, with the hair colours not matching any of the other races when the same colour is selected. I really hope for a complete overhall in FFXIV's character customisation since honestly at this point it feels a bit out dated.
As a dedicated fem roe player, the dimensions make glam a struggle. She is somehow wide and flat at the same time. Gear also scales in all directions, so by the time a thigh-high boot fits my 7+ ft tall lady, the leather looks 3 inches thick. But I still love being the tallest person in the crowd so we will fight on!
I am and always will be a cat girl because I am a normal well adjusted person that contributes to society and doesn't suffer from debilitating kinks that manifest in my personal life irl. …. 😂
I play as a bungirl, so I don't think I'll switch any time soon.

IMO the most near identical cosplay Elezen can get is Haurchefant. I heard that most of Aymeric, Estinien or even Fourchenault glamour cosplay kinda lament about is some little parts (either it's hair or face) off it makes the whole so odd. At one side, i can understand that the option is kinda limited(?) and more generic design. But also, it feels like "meh" nothing special about Elezen face (debatable) compare to other races.
At one day, I scoffed at myself thinking about "if there any "cross" races such as Garlean (like Lucia, Solus, Nael, Zenos etc) and say Hilda. Together with the option to make your WoL into teen (13-17 years old) rather than mature adult, it would make the server explode even more. But there is no way CBU3 gonna add them. Even if it comes to their mind, they would bring it in the end expansion of next arc long after female Hrothgar." The only thing i can do is crossing my finger.
Male Roegadyn enjoyer here since the first day I played. Never used my fantasia (I still have the free one). When I play MMO's I was always drawn to the biggest races or the smallest one. If someone was to force me to fantasia I'd pick a Lalafell or a Hrothgar.
also take into account that middies and highlanders are lumped in together despite being more different than every other clans, theres not very many highlander girls around tbh
been a femroe for over 4 years now and am not changing soon although i do have 3 fantasia around

I'm Lala master race. I don't like how insanely bulky male Roe are so I couldn't even though I tried, I hate how often in games like this there is a race where the guy is ridiculously wide to an excessive degree while the female is just a little bit bigger than females of other races. That was my issue with female Roe, where male was too far, female was not far enough for me. And Hrothgar, I want to like them so bad but again, way too bulky for no reason. I wanted Kimahri, like that kind of build so they look agile but they're built like a Snorlax for me, and the headgear thing so Lala just won for me. You get free pats, people give you stuff randomly, I get commendations just because my glams are cute. If you haven't played Lala, you don't understand the power lol.
