No longer shall man have wings to bear him to paradise. Henceforth, he shall walk.

Can't wait till you get to the final walk. This whole arc is immense, and ties the whole game together in one big sobbing bow.
15:55 — Meteion is a creature based off on Dynamis – and as Hermes explained, though our world is awash with Aether, this is an exception: outside our world, Dynamis is the dominant force, and Meteion is basically… well, all-powerful. Add to that that she had dozens, hundreds, even thousants of sisters, or rather copies, all working in unison like a hive… that power adds up. And because all the worlds were depressed, now the Meteia are depressed and in return make everybody else depressed, and so on. So, yeah, she's super strong now… which is a problem ^^°
28:35 — It gets worse. See, when we meet Phantom-Hythlodeis in Phantom-Amaurot… that was the office where he would sacrifice himself. Thats why he was there, there were he is "now" going… and why Emet is so upset. And possibly one of the reason why he so fervently labored for the Rejoinings.
32:12 — This scene is symbolic like as not: in the beginning we see Hythlodeus going to his own sacrifical "funeral", at the same time this group of ancients call upon an already existing Zodiark. We also know from post-ShB that Venat was surrounded by her supporters when they summoned Hydaelyn. It is however possible, that before Hydaelyns creation Venat came upon this group of fellow kin and it was sort of the final straw which spurred her to action… That being said, the scene is even more strange: half of the surviving population was sacrificed to create Zodiark, then another half of the remaining population was sacrificed to restore the land. It was the plan then to nurture life to its fullest which would be then used to sacrifice to Zodiark yet again to bring back all the lives lost to both his summoning and the restoration of the land. This, too, was the plan Emet-Selch and the Asciens stuck with: first rejoin the shards then sacrifice all remaining lives to bring back those that were lost – including us and all our friends, everything we have known. Long story short: the moment Venat met these guys, the land would've probably already been restored… but it wouldn't have looked as impactful.
36:55 — Ayo ^^°
37:25 — Its what she said: going forward, knowing your end is assured. In that Emet encounter, we got up and walked forward, or stumbling rather since we were barely able to walk, let along fight. But we didnt give up. We kept going, knowing full well it would all be for naught. And it would've been if we didnt have our shadowy friend with us… The message is simply this: keep going, no matter how hard it gets, and in so doing find your light… "light" is often used synonimously for positive conotations as hope, piece and so forth ^^°
About the question in 37:13, it just means that she was the source of strength that kept you on your feet, she was the one that pushed you forward, no matter how tired or injured she might have been, she bore your pain as if it was her own to make your journey possible.
Hermes: I shall send a smol autistic bird girl into space to ask the great questions of life
Hades: you wut???
God I love Emet so much, "Do not squander it, the legacy I leave you!"
You should watch âThree Body Problemâ.
Hermes sent this empathic little bird girl out into the universe with a flawed question that she could not find an answer for. For all his talk about how horrible it is to not let violent concepts live-he treats Metion as a tool and nothing more in the end.
"The Venat Cutscene" is such a choice vintage. Like many people, I had to get up and take a walk for several minutes once it ended. It was so much all at once.
