  1. You improved a lot as a Dragoon!!! As a fellow DRG I'm so proud!

And also the limit break gets stronger if more bars are yellow so u did do good but you should wait if it's close to filling and the boss is still 12 or 14 percent

  2. Your narration has improved dramatically. Good job on the dungeon. The blue quests you just picked up here unlock the beast tribe questlines, one of which is related to crafting (which is why it was unlockable at level 1!) I generally feel they are better for doing off stream.

  3. 6:37 Actually laughed out loud, that was amazing.

7:38 "just before 3 we do our other 3" Fantastic use of your Life Surge! Good thing is you won't have to relearn what to use Life Surge on even as you get more skills.

11:27 Something here you can learn about now that will pay you later: right here you can see a red eye icon over the dragon enemy. This is an indicator that the enemy's upcoming attack needs "eye contact" with you to work. If you have your character facing away from the enemy, even if you are in the AoE indicator for the attack, the attack will not work on you. While right now it is easier to just run out of the AoE, it will be good to learn and understand this icon now. In later boss fights you will occasionally see attacks with this icon that the AoE for the attack is the entire arena or that you will not have time to get out of the AoE. You will have to turn away to avoid the attack and learning about it now will make it easier to deal with it in the high stress situations of boss fights.

13:10 Duty failed because the named character that you are fighting with died. He died because the extra enemies kept hitting him with their AoE attacks. Try to keep an eye on the list of enemies on the left part of your screen to see when new enemies show up. If you are having a hard time finding the new enemies, you can target them by clicking on them in the list. Then just use your spear throw (on your 7 button) to see where they are. Sometimes you might even have to move away from your friend to make sure he doesn't get hit by the AoE attacks.

15:18 "Oh, that I did not mean to do" Funny thing is, using it helped you win the duty. After you jumped away, the enemy had to run to attack you again. This slight change in positioning on the battlefield made it so that enemy AoE attacks would not hit your allies, ala the tip above.

31:00 Nice! You avoided this mini-bosses main mechanic on accident! For the next time you come here, whenever he runs to one of the sides of the room, run so you are behind him. he will shout in a direction, and anyone hit by his shout will take a big chunk of damage as well as not be able to cast spells or use skills for a short time. At 31:04 you can see your summoner ally get hit by it and lose half of his health.

31:07 "Oh I took a lot of damage" This is because you got hit by the dragons fire based on where you were positioned. Even though you are basically inside of the enemy, the game saw you as in front of him. Think about it this way, the ring around the dragon has arrows pointing in the direction he is facing. If you are on the side of the half circle that the dragon is facing, then you will get hit by AoE attacks such as the dragon fire. Long story short, try to use the circle around enemies to figure out where you have to stand (some of your attacks will do more damage when you attack from behind as well)

31:40 "ooooo I'm almost dead!" This time you did get hit by the dragons shout attack that I mentioned earlier.

31:58 Because this is your first time being revived in video (I think) this is a good chance to tell you about the weakend debuff. In the upper left corner where it shows the health of your party as well as what buffs and debuffs you have. Next to you it shows a down arrow with an image of (to me) looks like a head that is half full. This is a penalty players get for having to get revived. It lowers your Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Mind stat by 25%. These 4 stats are the main stats various jobs use to calculate damage, effectively reducing how much damage you do by 25%. The debuff lasts for 100 seconds. If you die while you have the debuff and get revived again, the icon will be basically empty instead of half full, and your stats will be lowered by 50% instead of 25%. Long story short, avoid dying cuz it hurts =P

36:50 "I have some sort of ice thing on me" This is from a buff your healer, and Astrologian, gave to you. Part of their gimmick is they have a deck of cards related to star signs. They will draw a random card from their deck and then play the card to give an ally a buff. When it first came out, different cards gave different buffs. Now they all just give a 6% buff to damage for melee DPS and tanks or by 3% if given to anyone else.

38:10 "Is there other stuff happening here?" Yes, this fight has 2 gimmicks. First, another dragon will show up outside of the window from time to time. A player will have to activate the cannon in front of the dragon to get rid of it, or it will continuously shoot a field wide AoE on your team. The second is the boss will send out tornadoes onto the battlefield. Standing in them will have you take a pretty large damage over time status while in the tornado.

44:22 "Oh you did that way, awesome!" I would expect all tanks from here on to always face the boss away from the entrance to the room, unless there is a reason to. By now, even new tanks will know to do this to help out the rest of the team. So go into fights expecting to be set up to be easy for you. If they do not, expect that there is a reason for it.

46:00 I am laughing SO SO SO hard at what your team did. As you can see, after the 2nd time the dragon flies up, he will target everyone with 2 AoEs. After they land, the ground they are on becomes a circle of damage and other effects. High end strategy (hardly necessary for an early boss but fun to think about when you fight him again) is to put these AoEs as much out of the way as possible, such as against the wall. Your team put all your AoEs in a circle in the middle of the room, all together in the worst place possible to have them as a group. Obviously not your fault, you did not know. But it was still funny to see.

49:00 Wow…. THANKS Alphinaud, good to know that our death would just be an INCONVENIENCE to you -_-

52:03 "I still hate the 20 minute wait" Boy do I love my healer queues. Almost always an instant queue pop

59:33 "Should I have this one for all classes?" Nope, you should get that one because you are having Summoner/Scholar as your main alt class. Gear that gives intelligence is for magic DPS and gear that gives Mind is for Healers. Those stats are not used by other classes. If you see gear that gives those stats, pick them up if you are not getting gear for your Dragoon. They were also a head slot option, which you have set so people don't see it anyway.

Great episode! It was a lot of fun to watch. As always, can not wait for more. Especially seeing how you do on Scholar! Until next time :3

  4. you don't have to worry about skipping quest cutscenes when your duty pops up.
the game simply cancel your current quest part back to previous point so you can go back again later.
    thanks for the video.
