I am hoping that the Drachen armor I have been rocking since I started back in Heavensward. Both the armor set and weapon both are showing their age and I hope I can get the same HD upgrade to texture that the new armor has.
From what I've gathered those items also properly show Au'ra scales under the outfit so they won't get weirdly clipped off
It's really clear on darker skin characters, for example the 2B tights had fake transparancy, so on dark skin characters it looked weird, as the fake transparancy was for pale skin, so it would look like pale legs under the tights. That's no longer the case!
It's huge that you can see Au Ra scales through transparent armor now too!
The texture on the 2B tights was definitly imprived and imo it's far more noticable then the changes to transperency. They looked good before and look fantastic now, huge fan of the update.
I also love how Au Ra scales are now visible through more transparent gear than just the 2B tights.

I so wish Gaia's outfit wasn't just one piece.
It would've been great to see this say with a black scale Au'ra girl, since the transparency would have made her thigh scales vissinle through the transparent piece but damn thisnis great
