The Nautilus Knoweth (Old Sharlayan Night Theme) – FFXIV: Endwalker [Rain/Thunder 1hr]

Thaliak stands firm at the head of this port city, and from His ewer pour the waters of knowledge. Along with those waters comes infrequent rainfall as storms hail from the sea, oftentimes accompanied by light snow or heavy fog. It is within these weather events that the scholars of Old Sharlayan find much inspiration, as a delightful quiet befalls the city, quelling the boisterousness of outside activities and pushing all to look inward, both within the walls of their academies and their selves.

The Rain is the stream of consciousness. The Lightning the flashes of inspiration. The Thunder the roar of discovery.

  1. I love your rain and thunder series. It really helps me when I am working. If I may, can I request you make one for "FFXIV OST Lakeland Theme #2 ( Unchanging, Everchanging )"? It is an awesome melody as well.
Not sure if you do other games as well, but check out some of the tracks from FFXI.
    Cheers!

  3. Love these videos! I enjoy them as nice background noise while working. Will you be doing more of the ocean waves ones? A Sailor Never Sleeps would be perfect for that. <3

  4. I've heard of FFxiv, being a great mmo and all, but i was never interested in the genre at all, and yet this is an exquisite melody. The fact that you added an equally fortuitous description makes it more than enough to understand how we both love this song, thank you for uploading this.

  5. Just reached EW, and the moment this plays out, it automatically becomes my most favorite theme of the game. It's so chill and relaxing. Thank you for uploading a 1 hr duration. I wish the EW OSTs were in Spotify. The Tempest prolly my 2nd pick <3
