  1. The King died at the end of Legion honestly… I was on bleeding hollow horde side North America in a pretty good progression guild we transferred from alliance to horde during tomb of sargeras I played also on sargeras alliance side
The amount of guilds that never returned for BFA was staggering well they came back for maybe a month and then they just started leaving left and right, I was in a guild at the start of BFA with a bunch of mythic raiders that had been around since TBC and they all just quit the game, every one of them, my guild completely died within a month of BFA launch along with a lot of other guilds that never came back.
I remember the partnership with Activision and I remember everybody talking about how it was a bad move.

  2. even thought I've never really played WoW (maybe like 100-ish hours into it, if even), I played the shit out of Warcraft 3, playing the campaigns over and over again (what can I say, I loved the story xD). it was one of the games I cherished the most from my childhood and I love the lore and story of the Warcraft-universe. I could just sit down and watch a 2 hour video on the lore behind one character (examples: Illidan or Sylvannas). Seeing it now, in the state WoW and Blizzard have become, I can't help but feel like it's all tarnished. Like the joy I felt as a kid was misplaced and I was just lied to from the beginning.
Ngl, I am being ridiculed by my friends for thinking this, but I genuinely think there's still a bit of hope for WoW to get back on its feet (or it's just my mind telling me it's "gonna be okay", idk), either if Blizzard somehow makes a MASSIVE 180, fire everyone even remotely connected to Blizzards problems (not just the sexual assault ones, but bad customer/in-game support, etc.) and fix everything inside the company or just under another company.
edit: i just finished the video and this is more of an afterthought. you seem to me like a chill guy, who knows what he's talking about and you can consider me a sub 🙂

  3. Don’t get me wrong I think wow has been garbage for a long time and it’s unacceptable, however I don’t see why everyone is acting like FF is the saviour it also has some big issues and you’ll feel just as bored with it after a few months of playing.

  4. It's nice to hear this from someone who went 10/10M in Nathria. We all LOVE this game. We've all invested godly amounts of time because we love it. And they've taken advantage of that love. I canceled my sub as well. Tired of beating my head against a wall in Korthia. Tired of having M+ bugs since launch not be addressed. I didn't even run Taz'avesh once because of how buggy it was on launch. I want nothing more than to return but a message needs to be sent.

  5. I feel that, I used to mythic raid too and got 2600 but quit wow back in 8.3, I was clinging onto hope for the longest time but they just keep fucking it up. Might come back if the expansion after SL is like Legion after WoD though. Still kinda miss the game from time to time…

  6. I 100% agree with you on everything. As someone who is a super casual, the desire to play was completely gone after two months in shadowlands. I really don’t think there is anything they can do to save the game. Maybe just a straight up clean slate , however that would look but at the end of the day the same finger prints that led us to this point will be on that as well.
