I’m not an MMO person, normally, but maybe I can make a difference for the award winning game Final Fantasy XIV, with its free trial including gameplay up to lvl 60 and all the other stuff.

  1. When you're in Aleport, you should take a moment to look out over the water and then look up. You can actually see the Isles of Umbra/Pharos Sirius from the port and the view is rather impressive, especially when the weather is clear.

  2. Stone Vigil is, in my opinion, the first good dungeon of FF14. It's maze-like enough that you want to explore every corner, the trash mobs start packing a punch (at a time most DPS classes get AoE, and you get tempted to combine multiple packs for efficiency), and the bosses have interesting mechanics beyond "move out of orange zone".

Also, now you got the answer for the question you had way back at episode 5 when you first noticed Pharos Sirius and its giant crystals piercing the lighthouse from the distance.

  3. One thing i suggest doing is going to gridania and checking the achievement certificate vendor as he is a way you cna get a few more minions and mounts, as well as a funny costume thingy
also i think you need to claim rewards from achievements now, except titles so maybe check if you unlocked any, probably not but worth a shot

  4. In regards to the crystals not all of the crystals are granted by primals or creatures of that level some can be granted by caretakers of said crystals, the crystal Isgebind carried was most likely that of Shiva's the dragon was just keeping safe. You were given Ramuh's crystal by the Sylph elder and not by Ramuh himself, those crystals represent elements rather specific powerful beings like the primals.

  5. If you want to do dungeon analysis stuff, running an undersized or "unsynced" dungeon can be helpful, as you won't need a full group and some early dungeons you can even potentially run by yourself.

Taking a second look at dungeons is gradually more rewarding the more you do it, and can even yield surprising finds. Here's one I discovered: the Tam-tara Deepcroft bears great resemblance to the Marsh Caves of Final Fantasy 1, being a green nature-themed dungeon with some undead mobs mixed in with the enemy mobs. The boss is Galvanth the Dominator who is not just a piscodemon, just like the boss fight of the Marsh Caves, but also a fallen king. This is fitting considering the treasure you find in the first game is a crown.

There is so much more to discover, that was just an example from a single dungeon. Loving this playthrough so far, can't wait for the Garuda fight!

  6. im noticing your hotbar #4 is currently a shared bar; you can change that in [menu]->[characterconfiguration]->[hotbars]->[sharing] and then youll be able to free up some space and not have fists and tankstances on the same bar

you can also use this to make hotbar #3 shared since that seems to house some universally useful buttons.

  7. If you are struggling with too many things flooding your UI there are multiple layouts you can do for your HUD, up to 4. So if you wanted you can make an overworld UI and maybe one for just dungeons and other instances that only has your nesseccary battle hot bars
