  1. I have no problem letting a dps die if they run ahead. Sprint is a mitigation and if they expect me to pop a sprint early to save some dps that thinks they are saving 2 seconds then they can eat the floor while I sprint past them having activated it at the right time and pick up the mobs off their dead body while their res sickness reminds them of their poor choices for the next ten minutes. Is that spiteful? Maybe. But it almost guarantees they won’t do it again at least for that run.

  3. sprint is good, but also your ranged damage move gets them swarming you too, i have been doing warr lately so i only remember tomahawk, but all tanks have the ranged shield throw/emo spark/gunblade being a gun move, and its good for staking out aggro.

also standard reminder on tank stance is that if you level down for a dungeon, it turns off, so always make sure its still on when rouletting.

  4. Every time a Content Creator makes a comedic video passive aggressively asking Tanks to use their Arms Length
a Sprout Dark Knight Queues for Holminster Switch determined only use TBN and the Hard Slash Combo.

  5. If DPS pulls, they die.

No, it's not a lesson. It's not griefing.

    It's an opportunity!
I live for the pain and the less dps the DPS do, the longer I feel pain.

  6. One thing to add: If there are two or more tanks in the instance, stand in front of the boss and fight for aggro without using Provoke.

Anyone who does it is a weakling that goes for cheap useless wins instead of working hard for the big one.

  7. As someone who mains tank, when leveling other classes and watching other tanks. My biggest gripe is watching the ones who just do not use any cooldowns; especially the closer they get to the boss. There’s a fair amount of bosses that don’t even have a tank buster, and all the healer has to really do is cast regen and you’re good for the whole fight. By the time one does roll around, you should have at least your reprisal up with the 60s CD.

Also, arms length is real good mitigation cause of the slow effect, by enemies attacking slower, they’re doing less dps to you, almost no tank I’ve seen uses it, it’s such an underrated ability.

You do dungeons enough, you get a feel for what mitigation to pop and what you can save. You gotta pay attention to your healer and see if they can keep up as well. If you’re popping everything, and still die, then you just gotta accept the fact that you can’t wall pull. Work with your healer, don’t be a dick.

  8. I would like to throw my hat in for why Paladin is the superior tank. Everyone thinks that Paladin's got a stick up the ass and aren;t any fun. But I would like you to consider something. By definition of being holy warriors, Paladins spend the most amount of time around demon girls. Think about it.

  9. See… I primarily play PLD because it is can do just about everything and not need anyone else… so it lets the healer DPS… which is truly what they are there for… >.> Love the video as usual!
