I was going to agree with you on the fluff on that male hair style with the shaved sides…but… This is just a personal taste but that hair style is very much like Lukes from Street Fighter, the side shaved one. Now if that hair does get released, I am now having a monk glam that will be cosplaying as Luke, my main in SF6. Other then that, yep agree with the hair style choices. Especially when many players have demanded for longer hair for females since that is limited as well.

Honestly though, my 2 favourite hairstyles are 2 variants of 1 on male viera. Idm that there are variants of similar hair. I'm just very skeptical that the hair will look good on Viera, as most hair they've added that wasn't designed specifically for viera look pretty awful. You could project a cinema on some of their foreheads.

Eh? I don’t care that much I just want more hairstyles. Idc if they’re similar, sometimes a hairstyle is slightly off for a certain look, so you need something in general similar but better.
Maybe I'm just being a woman here but I feel like that "karen" hair is quite different than the other short bob they have. Like, the hair you showed at 1:54 the long one. One, that hair is only available on hyur, I believe. and two, I think a sleek long hair with tapered ends is something people have been wanting for a LONG time. I know I have. Variety isn't a bad thing, and the hairs though seemingly similar help people express their characters better in small ways.
Take something as small as an earring as an example. Theres a pair of recolored earrings in FF that are silver instead of gold. Some might call FF lazy for recoloring an earring instead of adding a new one. But for me, the earring being silver instead of gold helped it be the icing on the cake for one of my glamours. Minute differences can make a big difference for players in expressing themselves!
The real issue is how long it takes SE to add them ^^;;

as much as I love this game, Ive honestly gotta agree with all the points made here, Im so sick of seeing the same thing by the design team but with slight different variation, for them to pick entries from this competition that are already similar to the things we have ingame as well… They really need to step outside of their comfort zone and try something new.
