Now that you know the basics of tanking and have some experience, here is some more advices:
When you are hitting mobs, always put the mobs between you and the rest of the group, so that in case one mob does one forward attack, it only targets you. So, in case you are surrounded with mobs, just move away from the rest of the group and you are correctly positioned. On the red circle around the boss there is an arrow, make sure, in case of a group of mobs, that the arrows align parallel towards you.
Wall-To-Wall:
With this technique you collect all the mobs until you hit a wall that only opens until you have killed the mobs of the current section. This is used to clear the dungeons faster. Only do this if you are confident mitigating damage and not overwhelming the healer. However, a lot of High-End players expect you to do this technique, so try to master it early.
Main Tank (MT) & Off-Tank (OT):
Those are terms used in 8-group content. The MT has the tank stance on and the OT has it off. This is done to prevent the boss ping ponging between tanks and accidentally hit the rest of the group. Remember Tank Stance generates a lot Enmity (Aggro), so that the Mob/Boss only concentrates on you if you have it on.
MT concentrates mostly on the main boss, while the OT is in charge of the rest that happens in the arena. The are cases where tanks switch mid-fight between MT and OT, but you don't need to worry about it now.
Warrior is the most tanky tank with the lowest DPS in the game.
I think that's the best way to explain that class in one sentance.
