His tank take is so shit. It's easy when you are a big profile figure who will ultimately never face any consequences for messing up ("but I kicked myself once for underperforming!!"), but for any other player tanking can and will be a pain. You have to know the ins and outs of a dungeon, every mob pull, every potentially threatening ability, every mechanic in a boss fight (on average) and govern general strategies for your party like when to use what. The responsibility is on you to be a leader, babysitter, guide and a commander and nip things in the bud when something goes wrong. Healing and dps is so infinitely less difficult and stressful that it really shouldn't come as a surprise why adding three new tanking classes since release never solved the tank shortage.
As a healer, I sometimes curse my existance xD And I ALWAYS blame the tank if tank dies from stupid shit xD
If you are saying wow has toxic players, you've never played the division. Man.. we must invent a new word for the level of the toxicity in that game.
I want to play a tank but I'm not the type to lead a raid.

I main tank in wow and tanking m+ has a lotta responsibilities than just positioning and aggro management,
I gotta make up for others' ninjapulls
I gotta know routes
I gotta know almost what every single mob does ( which directly helps you in knowing which pack to pull, how many to pull, and if you can pull at all)
Pulling according to your dps' cds
I mostly have to be the only one talking and communicating since healers 80% of the time never tell me of they're low on mana and if i check their low mana and i stay for 10 seconds for them to drink some literally won't drink nor they say anything and just stand there. I pull, they run out of mana and we wipe.
I have played with fantastic healers, sure. But thats the pug experience. I personally make sure i can use 110% of my class' abilities to make the run go smooth and some simple stuff like interrupts, ccs etc or simple communication goes a long way.
But since ksm runs are mixed w casuals and good players this happens often anyway
I was enjoying the vid until Bobby got brought up, I genuinely thought he'd be leaving. Ow2 looked pretty cool and I had high hopes blizz might start not being shit again. Just hopes he stays tf away from overwatch but I'm sure 2 years deep into the game Bobby's decisions will shit on it somehow

All roles can be hard but healing is the most difficult generally no matter the game and I stay clear from it. Props to anyone who can heal well especially PvP arena healers you guys are literal gods.
As a healer myself, it's not about us being bad or good, it's about the whole team working together. I had a rare experience in WoW where I had mostly good groups but shaman healing was kinda easy mode compared to pally heals, get one person ripping aggro and now single target heals all around, thank God mages have massive AOE and warlocks with howl of terror on me lol

Healers are the purest being in game who cheer everyone up and take blame so people stay calm…for first like 5 years, those who survive longer are becoming ascend being who hate all humanity instantly assume every teammate is ape and establish dominance by informing group that the first person to die have high chance of losing balls while sleeping after raid.

ive mained a tank ever since i started wow in burning crusade, love it and its easy reflexes if youve done it long enough of times. When i was leveling up my rogue oh god the tanks were so damn garbage and i ended up tanking with my rogue just to level up cuz tanks were so horrible one after another.

Literally, every time someone gives me crap in wow as a tank, my response is "I'm a pug tank for Mythic +15 keys, you're gonna have to do better than that to get under my skin." Learn routes, interrupts, and major things to note from other tanks or from Youtube. Then tell everyone who has advice to eat shit, you're doing it your way. File it away for the next run, cuz it COULD be useful, but learning on the fly doesn't do anything but make players quit your dungeons
You don't become a tank out of free will. Every tank main started playing tank because their friends made them do it. Meaning true tank mains are bottoms.
“Who even plays mythic plus?” My friend used to mainly play that before they completely ruined wow and yes, he is one of the most toxic players I know.
Asmond, you are sooooooooooooo fucking wrong about tank being the easiest job. It is the number one most stressful class I play. DPS is the easiest class, nobody cares about you, just do DMG. Tank gets blamed for fucking everything. You don't know the exact fucking meta for exactly which mobs to kill and which to avoid in a dungeon? Group leaves. You mess up 1 mechanic, you get kicked. You are smoking crack if you thinking tanking is easy currently. No fucking way
Everything is your fault as tank. Healer can't keep up because you pulled too much
No need to worry about DPS, literally become the leader of the raid, center of attraction and survivability cuz of huge HP & toughness when everyone else dies is what makes tanks the best in any MMOs. Lol
so i hear here only one problem in mmo. the Random shit. If u pick up ur guild or friends and take advanture with that, absolutly no problem with flame or something.

Changed to a tank to fill for my guild last week in wow, only ever did it on ff14, and got my first whisper in a raid ever. From the other tank. Asking how we tank the next boss. We "tank and spanked" through the raid with no wipes, bumbling our way to the end and just talking to eachother the entire time. I love tanking!

It’s funny the difference between a mmo tank and a moba tank. In mmo asmongold says “nothing is your fault” while in a moba (I’ll pick heroes of the storm) everything is your fault when you play tank. You are supposed to protect, check bushes, bring the team in fights, engage, tank the dmgs, the ccs, take the enemy squishies
