  1. Just because the Hydaelyn/Zodiark story is complete with Endwalker, I feel like we're not done with the Ancients and the Ascians.

    Fandaniel was proof that even the sundered Ascians are incredibly dangerous. Without Elidibus, Emet-Selch and Lahabrea to keep them in line, what's left of the Ascians are still a threat. Gaius "killed" a few and collected their masks, but as we know, unless you have white auracite you can't ever truly kill an Ascian.

    In fact, we SAW one in the post-ARR MSQ epilogue that hasn't made a reappearance, yet: Pashtarot.

    Emet even mentioned him during the events of Elpis.

    I am not going to be shocked if another Ascian rears their head in Dawntrail, especially after seeing Gaia in the MSQ.
