  1. I'm so stoked for this. I started playing back just before the Summer, and the first class I started up was the Arcanist (with the thought of going summoner.) and I was kind of disappointed that I was just playing an Affliction Warlock. I didn't FEEL like a summoner from Final Fantasy. I want to be Yuna! I want to summon real monsters into the fight. I want to use their powers for my own. I don't want to just apply DoTs and spam my filler.

    I'm heading into Endwalker trying out Sage first, but then it'll be a very close toss-up between my Dancer and Summoner after that. And with all the changes to Summoner, it's looking better and better every time I watch a video on it.

  2. As someone who saw how complicated Summoners were in Heavensward, and stayed away from them for two expacs out of respect and FEAR,
    I'm coming for the summoner dong now, Larry.

  3. This is disingenuous and you've purposefully manipulated the data to make some things look used less currently (energy drain, fester, ruin iv, etc).
    There's the same number of gcd buttons but the ogcd play has been reduced by a lot putting it in ~blm cpm territory most likely. Lying doesn't accomplish anything people can read.

  4. As someone who has played summoner since 2.0, I am finally excited again. Since they added Bahamut, this is been the most tedious job in end game. I cannot even bring myself to play it in Shadowbringers without hearing the 2.0 DRG boring me to death about how long and complicated their rotation is :p So this ability to play the job instead of play scales on my keyboard in the only acceptable order is brilliant! No offense to the one-way-to-play raiders, but flexibility and recovery is going to be great instead of "reset and try it from the top." Now, if SCH is still viable… crosses fingers

  5. Designing my controller hotbars on Paint between tasks at work. Already feeling like Ruin III and Tri-disaster are gonna have to leave the Easiest To Press area to make room for the gem abilities. Which is… a bizarre but not unwelcome feeling.
    More than anything I'm so ready to fill up all the extra controller space with even more witty raise macros that no one laughs at!! 😎

  6. it's kinda sad because it seems that i'm the only one who doesn't love the new smn…

    after seeing all the details, i thought seriously? whole new job again? I love smn but i'm tired of getting used to the new job every time.

    even carbuncle doesn't face the enemy. is this the job i loved? i don't know anymore…
