Like, that song has morphed from "This one country defending itself from dragons" to "Dragonslayer and Elder Dragon saving the world". That scene has nothing to do with Ishgard – it's playing because of what Estinian is doing, and who he is now. The man reformed himself so hard he stole is nations theme song and took it with him to save Final Fantasy India.

I'm honestly baffled how, for everything else an MMO has to provide, the music team has put together a soundtrack that has slapped so hard, so consistently, for over 8 years. And this may be the pinnacle of their efforts in that regard. Every section of this overture lands perfectly.
Hearing this throughout our duel with Zenos viator Galvus was just absurdly stimulating, however, I can't help but wonder if he is truly dead or not. He offed himself at the end of Stormblood and yet he returns later on in the body of another before reclaiming his original vessel, utilizing the Resonant at it's full potential.
So…unless they plan on bringing him back, somehow. What will his role in later adventures be?
