  1. no pvp? no thx not for me. The biggest problem with wow is that they put systems over systems which make you grind for the sake of grind and making stupid systems which are needed to wait 1 or 2 patches to be balanced and at top of that the content is for 2-3months then its completly useless. Finally the triple money making b2p subs and store piss me off. Leaved since cata just played 1 month on shadowlands.

  2. Tbh Mmos have died in my eyes.

Nothing new they bring to the table anymore. Same grinds.

It's like the mmo community is in denial. And don't wanna realize the genre is slowly fading.

Played ff14 on PS4 back then, it was ight, did ESO, wow since tbc all those years ago.

It may have people playing, but without new things being brought to the table for MMOs, it's truly funny to see community's fighting which is the best, when MMOs in general have lost the essence they once had.

Micro transactions, raid, pvp, story, quest, grind to max.

Think I'll just stick to single player and co-op, souls type games. Elden ring here I come.

  4. As soon as WoW started to focus on story it starts going down hill. WoW is nothing but a grind for player power and dailies these days. You either do the raid to RNG get a piece you want, dungeons to RNG get the piece of gear you want OR earn an arbitrary score that people will perceive you better as, do boring 'go collect these' or 'go kill this' dailies, torghast which is one of the most boring things you can ever do and you'll only ever want to do it because it's linked to player power and then there's… nothing. Absolutely nothing to do outside of those activities. If you like an endless grind for player power which is essentially what WoW is these days, you're probably better off player BDO which has better combat for your ultimate end goal of being the best.

  5. now that asmon is playing ffxiv its a good game but before everybody hated that shit and the biggest joke was that they were saying wow looked BETTER.
The internet these days has no opinion of their own

  6. This is coming from my brother that has about 1500 hours in the game. And the only reason he's still playing it, is because he's a FF fanboy – not because the game is "good":
    1. Restrictive and claustrophobic map design, invisible walls everywhere. You don't get that "open world" sensation (especially with all the loading screens, see below).
    2. Stiff and floaty character movements.
    3. Loading screens, all the time. Going between small areas within a city? Loading screen. Going out from a city? Loading screen. Going from one zone to another? Loading screen.
    4. Can't shape classes with different talents, a class is set in stone. Can't be creative with it.
    5. Teleport simulator.
    6. PVP is absolute garbage. Even long time players agree with this.
    7. Itemization in the game is just boring, to say the least.

  8. Easy example of what I feel was done different. Playing wow and reaching "commander" in my legion table felt fully different than reaching lieutenant or captain or higher in final fantasy. I really did feel, "hell yeah, i am a lieutenant now". I had my squadron, I need to train them and care for them and win over new folks by doing challenges.

  9. Let’s just accept that some likes FF more and others WoW, both are different games with pros and cons. I personally enjoyed both games.
Don’t need to bash either game to say that you love X game. Respect

  10. Have your sins been forgiven today and forever?  Think about this.   The God of the bible,  the One True God made us to worship him, obey him, and enjoy him forever.   We break His laws daily by not putting Him first, not thanking Him like we should, we lie, we lust, we have sex before marriage, we dishonor our parents, we covet things other people have, we take God's name and use it in vain,  we use it in a low manner,  sometimes as a cuss word,  (God is holy and even His name is holy),  we don't love like we should, etc.  In doing so we're saying He's not a good provider,  He's a liar,  He's untrustworthy,  He's not worthy of praise.   All these things and more are counted against us.   The bible says God is the just judge of the world and one day He will settle the score for all the wrong we've done.  God is holy meaning He is righteous (morally perfect in thought, word,  and deed)  It also means He is set apart and higher than us.  God  being good, must punish all sin or wrong doing in the world.  This means that if you sin one time God will cast you in hell for eternity.   Because He is good and He doesn't turn a blind eye to sin.  But there is good news.  2000 years ago Jesus the Son  of God came into this world and lived a perfect life ( He never sinned once)  and He died on the cross taking the wrath that we deserve and paid the penalty for the sins we committed.   The bible says that if you will repent (confess and forsake your sins)  and trust in what Christ did on the cross (He took the wrath of God that was meant for you and I) then all your sins will be forgiven and when you die you will be in heaven with God and all who believe for eternity.  Jesus died and on the third day He rose from the grave.  Get right with God today don't wait.  Once you die after that comes the judgement.  Hebrews 9:27 It's the most important thing you can do.   You must be born again John 3:7 If you repent and trust in what Christ did on the cross it shows that you've been born again or born spiritually.   Right now you're dead in your sins and you can't see the beauty of Jesus Christ but after you trust in Christ all the things you hate about God like obeying him,  serving Him,  loving Him and others,  reading the bible, praying and going to church you will love to do those things because God changes your heart.   That's how you know you have been born again and forgiven.  Please think long about this and ask me any questions you have as this is the most important thing you can ever think of in your life.   An eternity in hell (darkness and a lake of fire the bible describes it, with weeping and gnashing of teeth)  or an eternity out of that place and into the loving arms of God who is infinitely glorious, has infinite knowledge and has infinite power to do all that He pleases.   You decide.   Have a great day!

  11. Asmon's been getting those view numbers because he's willing to (and seems to enjoy) beat his head against a wall repeatedly in order to beat content. It's the symptom of being an old mmo raider. There's not a lot of streamers that are willing to publicly fail repeatedly to get that one success. His reactions to wipe after wipe is also hilarious.
