  1. I remember the Ungarmax fiasco back in Stormblood. People were using the special Limit Break you were only supposed to have with Grand Company Squadrons in Omega Savage and Ultimate because it gave a 15% damage boost. Lots of bans were made when that finally got blown wide open. Or what about the first major cheating scandal where a group back in ARR modified their characters Z-Axis to ignore lots of mechanics in Coil? That was a disgusting move that got them swift retribution.

  2. 1:43:56 i don't care if you don't put the shopping carts back but if you're walking up to the store and you don't grab it from the check in on your way up i don't wanna hear you complain about their not being shopping carts

  3. but are you going to feel good about doing it 100+ times for 100 wins. Or is it just going to feel like a huge waste of time. Cause it is, and there is no reason that it should have been 100 wins. People cheat for alot of reasons, but one reason people cheat se could literally fix. Stop making achievement x100/x1000, x5000, x20000. They are boring and monotonous. People don't want to waste their time doing them so they cheat them.

  4. I'm playing WoW right now in the content draught and it feels so much better without snapshotting. You can incorporate interupts more often, better trash mob mechanics in dungeons , actual PvP…. so many things FFXIV can't do because the engine nerfs the potential

  5. There is way more cheating in pvp than frosty realizes or is letting on. Eli blue puts it on blast. If you think people are just using acr just in pve and there are thousands of people using it but not in pvp you are crazy. Speed hacking, auto interupts, auto gaurd. Pvp has had the same issues as it has for a long time, but the rewards just aren't as enticing. So if cheating has gone down any and i personally dont think it has then its because of that. Throw back rare mounts and you will have win trading, account selling, plus all the stuff going undected currently. Just crazy as someone who is like i treat everyone with good faith and assume they aren't cheating, then wants to talk about how little cheating there is.

  6. 1:05:44 – You can have server-side cheat detection if you want. You can probably use a ton of statistical analysis to find most of the easy pickings like people walking outside boundaries, moving too fast, etc…

  7. I generally have around like 62-77ms of latency in terms of my gameplay, but without NoClippy it would still make Machinist Hypercharge with Ricochet/Gauss Round weaving or Ninja Mudras a real pain. I hate that technically it and Alexander are "cheating" certain animation lock and netcode response just to make the game more playable, but it genuinely feels like it's how the game is supposed to be given anecdotes from JP server players.

  8. As someone working towards the mentor mount, while there are definitely fights that I dread with all my being (rathalos ex I'm looking at you), I have never just left immediately when they appear. That's not to say I'm not incredibly relieved when someone else leaves first or there's a vote to disband 😅

As for simulations, I personally would love a way to practice the specific mechs I struggle with on my own. Length of time spent doesn't equal difficulty; it's just an indication of how much you are willing to bang your head against against a wall.

It would be wonderful to have an update to the battle hall that has you go through some of the more common repeated mechanics. Things like exaflares, limit cut, that kind of stuff. Introduce it to players in a way that when it shows up in a fight, they recognise it. Not everyone does savage so when mechanics that used to be savage only show up in extremes it's not something completely unknown.

  9. If anyone is curious how much a Japanese company can not take Western feedback on latency and ping seriously go look at how long it took Japanese fighting games to get decent netcode as a standard.

  10. I don't really understand the difference between a simple "dot moving around a circle" simulator and something that looks (kind of) like the real thing in Roblox or not. I've used the sims and nothing will be exactly like doing it in the game. The visuals look like fanart and the timing and speed of the sim feels different than the actual game. I don't really understand how it's "shitty".

  11. Sly is once again like twice as loud as everyone else. Some audio balancing would be awesome so I don't wake up my neighbors whenever Sly speaks and I've adjusted my volume for the rest. I think it's the low bass in Sly's voice that causes this effect, but it should be taken into consideration regardless.

  12. When I got my clear for UWU the group I was with insisted on using auto markers and using a sim to practice mechanics and I fucking despised it. Just do the fight to practice mechs and for the gaels just pay attention and say a number for where youre going, its not that hard to just pay attention.

Yeah the whole … Add-ons thing … I'll watch someone streaming in my raiding group and realize they have Boss HP#'s on the health bar … zoom hacking … and knowing they advocate and try to make The Simulator 'not a big deal and 100% fine' … I'm in the minority in my group … I don't use ACT (haven't for 2 years, glad I don't anymore… game feels better)

So I hang out with the group because they're mostly FC people … but I don't stick around or do much content outside of getting myself gear … because I feel like if one or a few people are cheating it's like "I" am cheating… 😕
