  2. Congrats on starting 2.X! People will chime in with advice sure enough since there is a LOT that opens up during the patch content so I'll just mention that there are two mandatory sidequests that will eventually block you from progressing the MSQ. One is "The Price of Principles" that Minfilia gives you. You'll have to clear the 3 trials that unlock in the Waking Sands following that quest. The other is "The Legacy of Allag" and the chain of quests after it, ending with "The Light of Hope". Expect this questline to take several hours due to the amount of dialogue and the raids.

    The plethora of other side quests can be very entertaining and people will certainly push you towards rushing off to do their favorite, but you have plenty of time to go back and do them at your leisure, so tackle the game in whatever way is the most fun for you! (And don't be intimidated by new dungeons marked "(Hard)"—this only means that it's a sequel to a dungeon you've done before, not necessarily more difficult.)

  3. Yes! The patches quest(s) begin! Prepare for shock and emotion unlike previous moments in this game. I can't wait!

    lol. Yeah, Urianger can be so frustratingly difficult to understand. Apparently, he didn't have much social interaction as a kid or something? Most of what he learned of the English language came from books.

  4. 1:20 "A blue quest here as well!" Pick it up, you will have to do it before you can get to Heavensward

    8:49 "There are a lot of quests that have popped up" There are a lot of optional dungeons that you can go in now that require you to have beaten 2.0 to unlock

    12:48 "Who's is that?" It was Louisoix's staff

    22:27 "What was the button that was down?" Z. It will also let you dismount

    53:05 "Level 70, I'm going to open that up later, it's not like I could use it right now anyway" THE GAME HAS FOOLED YOU!!! You CAN use that weapon coffer and use the item right now. Check the current item level of the weapon you have. Once you hit level 50, item level and your current level split off. This was to allow them to continue to make gear that was better than the item level 50 gear when the old level cap was 50 when ARR was new.

    58:44 "And he just sort of appeared? would that even work? Well isnt that how all primals were summoned?" the difference is that Moggle Mog is not a god. Up until now, the only things you have seen summoned have been gods.

    1:06:05 "I don't want to accidentally trigger it" You can not accidentally trigger a trial, all trials are queued up for with the duty finder.

  6. Legacy of Allag's a crucial quest for the story, and you'll want to do Primal Fear and the trials from that if you want to get to the first big set of 8-player raids (featuring a neat story and some HARD fights). there's also some fun blue quests over in Ul'Dah (and I do mean fun).
