I was more annoyed about why you had to go thru 2 different instances to get to minfilia
Those filler quest between ARR AND HW, absolute hell…
Do you use mod? Cos I turn up my game to max and the lighting or graphic does not look this good.
Idk if I hate minfilia or cid more, on the one hand waking sands ptsd or the other farming those unskippable cutscene dgns for event currency
Am I the only one to really fork out the gil to juat start teleporting around during this portion of ARR? MSQ really gave me more than enough to do so. The furthest teleports from my location often cost about 300-400, not including If you set your home aetherite spots and favourite spots, which drastically cut down those costs teleporting to those specific locations.
Imagine my surprise getting vesper bay aetheryte tickets when i came back to ffxiv

I played after the tickets but never knew to use them till Halfway through the story
I haven't reach that point on the msq but after beating Death stranding. It should be a walk in the park?
Well I made it to this part having to return to the waking sands…I should work on the main story some more but I keep going and doing other things lol

My only fear when making my alt account was once more going through the pain of returning to the waking sands every 5 minutes
It’s quite impressive how many of you don’t realize there was a ferry ride you could have taken this entire time.
Listening to my friends play XIV just before they introduced the Waking Sands tokens and listening to them have a meltdown having to walk back there every five seconds is one of my favorite memories on XIV
