  5. I just started playing this about 2 months ago. If your starting from the scratch (like me) fair warning the story is boring for the first game, after that the story starts to pick up once you reach the pre-expansion story. Quest come in 3 types story, important side quest and side quest. Important side quest can either open up some side ability, get you a new profession skill or the one which i found frustrating, some are quest actually needed to gain access to the story quest again (as you can't advance the story until you do them and some are LENGTHY and to my irritation seem pointless story wise). Side quest are just that quest that give you xp and maybe a item. The thing that i enjoy is your not bound to one combat type, i currently have a LV 50-ish dragoon and a LV 30-ish White mage. So no needing to create new characters as in WoW if you want to try something new!

  9. i clicked on this just to see what he actually did, and i'm completely not surprised that he just fished the whole time. sips seems like the kind of person that fishing in this game specifically caters to.

  12. Been playing since ARR came out, glad to see my long-time favorite youtuber is having fun with it.

    Most of the MSQ quests are voice acted, but the English voice acting in ARR is not so great (it vastly improves immediately in Heavensward) and so I gently recommend changing the gameplay audio to a different language in System Config > Other Settings, Cutscene audio.
    RE: mods/addons, SE's official stance is "No mods/addons." There's one that they look the other way for (Gshade) but all others are "Don't risk it, if it becomes a problem then you might be banned."     There is a system in place to gauge your damage in-game called Stone, Sky, Sea, but that's awhile away from where Sips is now.

  22. also, his chat are annoyingly childish. So many stupid, trying requests. "Turn off names!" "Play Lord of the Rings Online instead"….this is why I would never want to be a streamer. I'd be telling chat to fuck off every other minute.
