  1. I tried really hard to get into ff14 after seeing all the good press about it. I couldn't manage to keep myself awake last lvl 20 msq. Doesn't matter how good the end game is if I can't get to it.

  2. Absolutely. I'm trying to catch up before 6.3 is out and this game is amazing. The trial fights and raids are extremely well made, the music is fantastic and the story is one of the best out there. Give it a try guys 🙂

  3. For everyone that is getting baited by streamers and everyone that claiming that ff14 is the best MMO, Please don't listen to anyone advising to buy a story skip. Just try the base game free trial first. It took me months just to finish ARR because I always fall sleep while playing it or got bored and alt+f4 my way out. If you hate the unnecessary dialogue and fetchquest (yes lots and lots of fetch Quest that doesn't make sense) at ARR/Base Game you still won't like the other expansions. Yes the fetch quest will lessen but there is still alot of it. PS. If you like Rp'ing and getting paid by strangers to strip you girl character. Then go play ff14

  4. The timing of this could have barely been better. I watched your 2022 version a few hours ago as have been looking into an MMO to play after recently purchasing my first gaming PC.

I have tried some others, but just can’t quite yet get to grips with mouse and keyboard, so since FF14 has good controller support, I’ve been looking into that (been playing ESO for years, but wanted to try something different).

It’s definitely taking a lot of getting use to, but the early signs are really encouraging

  5. is it easy to find a guild in ff14? i'm considering to take this game a chance but knowing myself i will be tired of soloing this mmo sooner rather than later and quit after a few weeks of playing all the time bc dungeon finder is very boring for my taste. that already happen to me in wow and eso. i just really want to find a small and cozy community to play and chill with, more of a group of friends than a large guild but somehow i always struggle to find anything consistent, non-toxic and friendly

  6. Bro'… I love your reviews and presentations like this one showing us if it's worth it – or maybe not – to get into some game or other now in the present time we are…

Because of this review I'll give it a try to ff14 and see how it goes…

Just unlike you I don't enjoy hard and difficult challenges and I don't like to be punished for my lack of skills simply because I'm not afraid to admit it I'm a dumb player with low skills and I have no intention to grind and "work" hard in a game to improve my skills and level up or cash in riches of virtual pixel cash and assets… that's part of why I'm moving away from Eve online and GTA Online and in turn I enjoy uo to a point the fairly easy relaxed and laid-back easy-going style in ESO…

I'll definitely give it a try to ff14 because of this review…

  7. Mounts are disapointing : can't mount in town, unmount each time you talk to someone, nothing more than being a little faster, the roof is low, you have to unmount before you attack something, …
Furthermore, with fast travel, you basically never use them once you've finished the msq.

  8. I just started playing this game yesterday, and the first impression is really good. I only got to level 8 so far, but that's because I kept interacting with every player I would find, and they would all reply you back and interact with you as well. I have never had that experience in any other mmo. The community in this game feels very alive.

The only thing I wish this game had personally was a good hunter class. I really wish they would implement a pet system for some ranged dps job.

  9. Loving FFXIV. Story did start off slow but I just finished Shadowbringers and it is amazing. I love how they integrate trials/dungeons into the story. Help players get their feet wet and not be scared to try them.

  10. A i love ffxiv but it not to great for solo players the best solo player mmo is SWTOR in ffxiv you can do all questing outside dungs and trail solo in swtor you can do all the stuff solo.the combat it slow in many way to many cooldown even at lv 90 on many classes but overall it not horrible also whie tank /healer and dps exist most ppl just dps as tank or healer it a weirdly bad take on the holy trinity, the dungs IMO suck hard i am sorry but not dung mobs are to tanky hit to much for a full wall to wall pull(and ever vet player want you to do that). while the bosses are all mechanics andi find that horrible i want trsh mobs ot be trash and bosses to be tank ad hit hard with hard mechanics but as tank main i hate going into a boss fight with have my defencive ability on cooldown because of trash mobs(honestly the dung mobs are was of a stresss issue then any dung boss i did ).music is epic that fact.pvp isnt great in ffxiv but it isnt a horror. chrs making is lovely ut need more colors and more hairstyles imo, gear is lovely and it dyable even well most of it and that great where it suffers is the limited amount you can have in your glam dresser but over a solid sistem.housing in ffxiv is another nice thing but it has it flaws i that sistem with gatekeeping or limits like the limited housing numbers. it should be instance based where you can see the housing town but when you enter a housing area you must(like with apartments enter a special one that way housing can be for all ,but that would make ppl who own house give a reason to not sub since many keep a sub becuase of a house) ,now there is apartment but a mini version isnt good enought when imo. the free trail is good i seen better but it no way bad unlike another mmo(wow) . what make ffxiv a great mmo is community, story, crafting the game has content for casuals and hardcore players and it can be for all hat makes it great .overall the best game for modern mmo players(casual players less so for solo players) with a great story. The playerbase in game is lovely and helpful (however online a minority has a weird hate for casuals and d sucking raiders on a daily bases but that ever mmo community i see online ) .Crafting in this mmo is the best i seen yet .Overall a solid 9/10 from a casual prospective.

PS . ppl who like being punished in making a mistake (are kinky bois and girls ) and need only one mmo wow for it the very defenition of do a single mistake and you are dead .however i hope ffxiv doesnt become that being punished doesnt add to the good challange the dung or raid it self should be the only challange a mmo should offer wish ppl learn that a true challange is to content not the punishment for L you take while trying to do it .
