  2. You go through all the jobs the warrior of light is up to this point in the trailer. Bard for 1.0, warrior for 2.0, dragoon for 3.0, monk and samurai for 4.0 and finally dark knight for shadowbringers

  3. This trailer still gives me goosebumbs. I loved it. If you want to have your head spin more, you can watch the Launch trailer aswell, but that just raises more questions 😀

  10. I mained Dark Knight since HW with a few other jobs as alts. So you can imagine how damn excited I was to see that ending to the trailer. Had my own little personal RP going on through the ShB MSQ. Made it a really exciting and unique experience.

    Shadowbringers is very, very lore heavy. It will blow your mind and will make you feel. A culmination of years of overarching plot and story hooks starting from ARR. I'm so hyped for you guys.

  13. Interesting to see you guys theorize 😉 Most folks that were already done with the story when the trailer came out followed all the news so we knew exactly what and where the expansion had in store. So excited to see your adventures in Shadowbringers! It's a wild ride.

    Concerning the previous calamities if you're interested (spoiler free): the 1st was wind aspected, though we don't know exactly what it was and did. Scholars theorize hurricanes and such.
    The 2nd was lightning and involved volcanoes blackening the skies and lightning storms raging for a year and a day.
    The 3rd was fire and supposedly the sun grew larger, causing wildfires to spread and making wastelands of forests and grasslands (the desert in Southern Thanalan was created at this time according to fossil evidence found there).
    The 4th was earth and involved the Crystal Tower sinking into the earth causing massive earthquakes, powerful enough to topple mountains.
    The 5th was ice and covered the world in raging snowstorms and rivers of ice. It's unknown how long or what caused this ice age.
    The 6th was water and took place about 1500 years ago. Giant tidal waves happened across the realm, flooding the lowlands. (The boat up in the mountains in The Peaks in Gyr Abania is a pre-Sharlayan construct from the time of the flood. It's creator would go on to take the survivors further north and found Sharlayan with them.)
    And of course, the 7th was Bahamut. It was unaspected elementally, but astral in alignment.

  16. Welcome to greatest story ever told in recent MMORPG. Some may go even far as saying best story for Final Fantasy franchise. Regardless of what others feel, just buckle yourself in to get your mind blown. Speaking of mind blown, it has been 2 years since I finished 5.0 shadowbringer. Just now watching your reaction made me realize something new that blew my mind yet again lol. I can't say what here for obvious reason. Enjoy!

  19. I've been watching a bunch of your videos lately and both your reactions to the story are so much fun to watch! I started Shadowbringers recently and I had so many theories from the trailer that turned out to be wrong haha, it's very interesting to hear yours. I also main dark knight, so I was extra hyped to finally be playing the 'featured' job. It's an amazing expansion so far but yeah I can also confirm you're going to need tissues. I hope you enjoy it, looking forward to your reactions as you go through it!

  32. I've been enjoying watching your playthrough clips as they're posted, and I'm glad that you guys are getting to Shadowbringers now. Best segment of the game, imo.

    Also, try to keep in mind what the gremlin says to "you" in the trailer. It will be relevant later.

  36. This trailer is soooo good 😀 I love to hear all your thoughts about all the weird stuff I just went "What the..? What?" for, haha. I didn't really take the time to think too much about it, because I was too excited to start playing ^^

    I really like the part after Ghimlyt Dark though, where the Warrior of Light is a Bard and starts job changing. He's having flashbacks from all the different times and then he starts job changing through all the classes that were his "main" for the expansion.

    Bard – 1.0
    Warrior – 2.0
    Dragoon – 3.0
    Monk & Samurai – 4.0
    Dark Knight – 5.0

    I'm so giddy and excited to watch you play through all of this, and I really hope both of you enjoy it 🙂

  37. One thing you didn't commented on, but WoL's class changes follow the main class he had in each trailer: Archer for 1.0, Warrior for ARR, Dragoon for HW, Monk/Samurai for StB, and now Dark Knight for ShB.
