That pep talk in the beginning made me chuckle. Some real love for Graha there.
the piano piece is called "Eternal Wind," and it's a very special redone version of a theme we've heard a lot in SHB (as well as being the theme from another FF game).
That specific piano rendition just mentally puts me at my knees every time.
It's such a beautifully played piece and the scene it accompanies is just perfection.

Both games that made me cry were final fantasy games. First one was ff7 when Aerith died. And this game brought me to tears several times

all those tiny bits hits you in the feels, all the scions saying goodbyes to peoples in the first was so sad yet wholesome. It’s such a perfect way to end Shadowbringers. From 5.4 onwards is the setup for Endwalker

Love your days of Wow Savix and now im so happy you enjoy my alltime fav series of FF! I only recently swapped last year but I've played almost all FF games and boy there are so many small details and references to even just the logo of FF1 and ffxiv 1.0 logo. Been watching all your content and hung out in chat when im available. Wish i could play with everyone..

I believe that the two soul crystals that Elidibus grabbed at the end were the ones for Lahabrea and Igeyorhm (we fought both of them at the same time at the end of Heavensward), and that they were also the two Ancients we see in the flashback Elidibus has where they were talking to him about their worries with his obsession with his duty.
One of them says something along the lines of “Just look out the window! The rains have ceased and we’ve been blessed with another beautiful morning. Come outside with us.”
So when Elidibus repeats that line as he is dying, he is lamenting the fact that he didn’t take up their offer when he had the opportunity and now he never can.
5.3 is like the best story patch in a game ever made. It's hard to imagine a better one but FFXIV continues to outdo itself but I cannot even fathom it happening yet.
As you can imagine, FFXIV has rewarded me HEAVILY by playing all Final Fantasy games 😂👍
