Save The Baby | Xeno Reacts to FFXIV Endwalker MSQ

The blasphemies are attacking everyone indiscriminately, even little babies. Xeno has to put an end to this but instead of throwing a Tomahawk, the Warrior of Light just sits and watches as Mehvan gets killed. This is part of the level 85 quest “Warm Hearts, Rekindled Hopes”. Xeno gives his first, blind reaction to the Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker story (MSQ) cutscene.

  1. I've had the same complaint since ARR. All these scenes where people get maimed or killed, and our WoL just sitting there like 'No please stop, light what will I do?'. As a Warrior main just smash em with your axe genius!!

  2. that's the only gripe I've really had with MSQ was how often our character, the literal savior of the world, the one who is stronger than every other scion by leaps and bounds, literally stands there and watches people die on countless occasions. sometimes they do it well and it makes sense, like a surprise attack the WoL couldn't see, and other times the WoL just stands there while someone decides to sacrifice themselves.

it's one reason I really liked certain job quests so much, some of them the WoL does incredibly cool things and saves the day.

  3. Imagine being that child growing up. Sucks to not have parents, but you'll have the most badass story to tell. Literally got saved by the fucking Azure Dragoon, his Dragon buddy and a Gigachad Elephant.

  4. Agree with Xeems WOL standing there in cutscenes when they can prevent half of the deaths not doing anything because the devs dont wanna animate anything really kills alot of the scenes. Cutscene WOL is literally that one guy who joins clear party PFs expecting them to carry them and then if by some miracle they do carry the deadweight they end up joining farm parties and die 17xs but end up getting the drops/mount. 5. I feel sorry for all NPC during cutscenes because we all the know the warrior of light is just going to stand there.

If you are a NPC, better hope there is a level sync pop up or boss music 🎵 playing. If it ain’t an instance battle, you’re dead 💀
