I was invited by Square Enix to check out FFXIV Dawntrail early, and here’s how SAM is changing as well as what I think it means for the future of the job!

Welcome back Kaiten, even if you look different now and only show up when Meikyou's around, we missed you.
does my eyes deceive me or the tendo setsugekka now has longer recast time ?
I'm kinda wondering why the heck did most other jobs get their "Press this button for 50 free gauge" into "Press this button to use 50 gauge without giving it to you" But not Samurai? I get they probably don't want you rolling up to 2 mins with 100 gauge and spending it all on Hissatsu's. But it just feels odd.
Shoha 1 and 2 being mixed into one is how it should always have been
Midareeeeee
The only thing I'm not a fan about is that shoha is a line attack now. We went away from this for the most part last xpac with the change to two sticker iaijutsu.
BRING BACK KAITEN, TRASH GAME
Is Senei's potency nerfed now that it's been adjusted to 60s on the media tour version? Its Endwalker potency is nearly the same as Zanshin despite costing half the kenki which just seems odd. Also interesting that Tendo Setsugekka has a longer recast, not sure how to feel about that
Thank god shoha is combined
Can't really say I have any issues with these changes, but why the longer recast on Tendo?
welcome back third eye and kaiten
Them giving samurai a skill called Gokkun is INSANE
How does our boy go the whole video canceling every gyofu into a shinten so we can't see the animation lmao
it's less punishing at lv80.
Just to clarify, while you cannot use Tsubame-gaeshi, you can still use it with Tenka Gokken, not just Midare, at least according to the tooltip.
