The moon T.T
"I will not say 'do not weep'; for not all tears are an evil.".
There's a difference between crying and weeping. You should be asking: who wept, who cried, and who sobbed?
A lot of the music in this expansion have nods to previous FF titles. There's a bit of FF4 music on the moon, numerous times the music reminded me of FF X and even FF X-2, lots of FF XI and I'm sure a bunch I missed. I've always loved the music of the FF series and this expansion has been no exception. I think the team has done this to emphasize the reminiscence aspect of this expansion. I love it and am really enjoying myself in this game.
As a P.S Quazii (I always thought that last l was an L). He knows Final Fantasy he has played all the others (I think). Watching his Journey was remarkable, His video editing, is top notch when he releases videos of his playthrough, he is there live, interacting with people in chat.
I never watched him during his wow Tenure, but I absolutely love the new batch of content creators we got from the WoW exodus each with there own style, likes and strengths.
(new is kind of odd now, its been months now)
" did you cried during the last zone ?
Well if cried can describe what happened to me , then yeah xD
For the soundtrack i got some Xenoblade give too ( sharlayan and radz)
Hi Ruri! Not really brand new from watching your video but 1st time commenting
And yes! I agree with you on the Xenoblade Chronicles X vibes on those music as well! I love Xenoblade as well be it the original, X or 2 because of the story and the music as well! And yes, I was emotional not just from the last zone but for the most parts and cut-scenes
Endwalker rips your heart to shreds and will put it back together with a scotch tape.
I didn't cry… my eyes where just sweating
I'll be honest, I didn't cry, or even tear up in the last zone. For me the saddest moments came before that, tucked away in the 88th level (I think it was the 88th anyway) quests and after the 2nd trial. Those were the parts in EW that hit me right in the feels. But for my experience I felt more emotions in the home stretch of ShB than I did at any point in EW. That said, I still think EW is fantastic and I enjoyed it a lot. ShB was a nearly impossible act to follow, and EW did it justice.
playing 24 hours in a row? i powered through in 2 sessions each 26 hours, then i ate a big bowl of Pudding!
I think the last stretch of the game I played from like 28-30 hours straight. It was basically the second part of Thavnair to the end of the story. I actually employed an old trick I learned from the tales of students in the old days: find some black peppercorns and chew on them whole. Seriously that must have been something the Sharlayan thought up at some point, and that was I did to playthrough the game, because that last stretch of the game was so, so good.
I cried in the last zone. I was in chat with my bf and a few friends at the time but they were a zone behind me so i had to cry in silence. It sucked to not have anyone to share those feelings with (cause spoilers) but it was great at the same time because the story was amazing!
Answer for your poll: yes
Crying over a game? Pussy's.
I'm gonna be honest.
I was so confused when Ruri open the poll like "did you ever cried on the last zone".
Cause I NEVER STOPED CRYING SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING.
9:40 yeah, Sawano Hiroyuki is the best, especially THEMEX tracks.
As of this post I just finish the 5th zone. Still not done MSQ thanks to heavy work schedule and the ultime que boss. My new normal 3-6hour que with limited time to play.
for your poll question, i did't cry, though i was very conflicted what to feel, reminded when as a kid i finished reading Lord of the Rings, this feeling of "its finally over" yet wondering if there could be more wanting there be more yet also being happy it found its end.
Especially that screen at the end where old passes the new, that really hit hard.
And binging on it for 24 hours in one go is not healthy indeed..
Wish it was more from the heart, at the moment, when he's talking about it. He's obviously reading off a script/essay and it's not hitting as hard. Still good though.
Still hung up on Hermes' speech, from the finals boss' memory. "A flower…"
