  1. Lose the SJW freaky hate everyone everything Democrat division election politics. No one wants this. The election was over three years ago. Why do we still have an active Twitter men hater as the writer of Shadowlands? This is dumb.

  2. The part about the drugs was pretty ignorant imo. Yeah drugs do affect you because it changes people behavior, make them more violent depending on the drug. No all drugs should never be legalized. Great video other than this

  3. Oh goodie Jumping Puzzles… flying allows me to skip all the fucking bullshit adds they have painted the outside landscape with. Get rid of half of those adds and make them LoS with no way to knock you from your mount then you can do away with flying.

  4. 1st. You need to finish this. I got to the end and wanted more. I want both your ideas on improvements to m+.

2nd. You do need to do this again. I think you two play really well off each other.

    3. I wish WoW would look at some of the systems that 14 has and copy them. I want a deep dungeon every expac. I want them to normalize currencies through expansions for killing rares and elites like fates and bicolor gemstones. WoW needs special areas only for crafters and gatherers like Ishgard.

    4. WoW has no casual content outside of the new zone activities that I could usually care less about. Why? Because even when I'm interested in the story it isn't worth the time to go out of my way for very little reward. I have gone back and done side quests in 14 because the stories piqued my interest.

    5. People often forget why players get tired of WoWs open world. Kill 15-20 of mob 3-5 times, defend this person 2 times, pick up 15 herbs, kill 15 bears to get 5 bear asses… its too long 90% of the time. Imagine being a healer and slowly getting through this crap. Thats whats needed to be done everyday before you can play what you want efficiently. By the time your done, your done looking at the same zone you've spent 30-40 hours in over the last month grinding because reasons.

    6. I wish we could get deterministic gearing in WoW. I hate at the end of a m+ dungeon I have a chance of getting loot from 5 different tables and 4 of them could hold another specs gear. Some specs 70% of loot is useless. With crit and vers being major stats and haste/mastery being memes. Maybe in raids ilvl is more important but very rarely are mechanics that tight in m+.

  5. as a working adult I value time the most so… I'm fine with having flying in any MMORPG i play because it save time. zone experience is fine as long as I experience them once before I can unlock flying.. but if I have to run pass through the same passage again and again just to get to that dungeons / mining node, I'd rather quit the game because its not fun and also waste my time.

anyway, great conversation you two had there. appreciate 🙂

  6. I think one thing that you're guys are missing with 14 gear. Rurikhan that comment in the last 25 minutes is pretty much a hot take. The reason why you get people saying that is because savage gear is dyeable, the normal gear is not. Meaning if someone wanted lets say an O12S chest piece they would go into PF just to go get that chestpiece because the normal one doesnt dye…the same goes for Eden and the current savage tier. You have people going into raiding and wishing they could raid so they can get not only a good item but a glamour piece they may use later down the road.

Also, fuck lootmaster. Its need or greed and LMing is just trash i honestly dont understand why 14 has it when the Need/Greed system works other than maybe someone in PF wanting to be a dick and ninja loot a savage….then again its your fault for not paying attention.

Seen a few PF groups and those players get blacklisted for asking for lootmaster.

  7. Last time I raided was heroic nyalotha. I dont care so much about raiding and if I do it, it's because I'm doing it with friends or i want the transmog. I stopped caring about item level for a long time now.

  8. yooo this crossover was delightful! good to hear you two reminisce and make great talk about gaming. Smart views and points made about all manners of things. Good laughs too (shitting in someones living room) side hurt from that social contract part. Valid criticism for both games. I jsut know Scumpany blizztard is got ppl already on the hook, waiting to PepeLaugh at them getting baited so hard for next expansion.

  9. If you didn’t have flying in XIV you would quickly get sick of the world. As for why they want that gear, it is because glamor is real endgame. People care about gear for more then Ilvl. That should be obvious.

  10. I really enjoyed this in a general sense. I, personally, like longform content like this because I can pop it on as passive content I can listen to while doing other things and not have to worry about finding something else to listen to several times per hour

  11. One minor point on community between 14 and WoW that I think is really worth noting, is that the game design really fosters a cooperative environment. You are almost never competing against another player for something (aside from things like, rolling on loot). The majority of quests don't involve hunting down and killing normal mobs, so you don't worry about someone "stealing" your kill. Killing a mob that someone else has tagged can give you the same rewards, if you do enough damage to it, so even if there's a mob you want to farm you don't have to rush and "tag" it first. World bosses give credit based on contribution (=emnity generated), and there's generally enough time for everyone to get full credit unless there's a massive group, so there's no reason to rush and "beat" another player to the kill. Gathering nodes are all per-player, so you're never competing against someone to get crafting materials. It's small, but I think design decisions like this really help build the mentality of seeing other players as allies instead of competition and threats.

  12. Hard disagree on flying reduce the overworld interaction. If I don't have the convenient of flight, I probably not even go out of my way to help random people. Not to mention flight also give you a better vantage point.

  13. A big part in FFXIV's current mentality, where they apologize for all their flaws and inconveniences, is the failure of 1.0. Koji Fox, the head of translation and lead singer of the Primals, said so in the Noclip documentary. All of "the old guard" still has that mentality of having to do better because they remember the shame of messing up. They had their pride properly crushed, and decided to be humble in response. And now, even though they are deserving of that pride, and they still choose to stay humble instead. Blizzard, Ion and so on, they still have that pride. They're still in that "We're World of bloody Warcraft, every MMO wants to be us" mentality. The exodus was definitely a hit to that pride, but I don't think it was crushed hard enough yet.

  14. Eh, don't really have much to say on anything in this video outside of the fact that, while I can't objectively say WoW's art is trash, I personally hate it. Too…. I dunno western cartoon fantasy for me. Don't much care for it.

  15. Don't care about raiding, don't care about dungeons, dont care about mounts, don't care about pets, don't care about transmog. Why you play again? Sorry maybe its just the wrong game for accaloon. What does he want? By now he ruled out pretty mutch all content in most MMORPGs.

  16. If you are talking about subjective preferences that don't harm others then I agree that ppl should chill out. In terms of politics that directly effects the lives of ppl then I disagree. I live off a disability pension , I don't have to respect the politics of ppl who want me homeless to save money from less taxes.
