I spent most of last night outside the Fortemps Manor. Crafting and giving away for free that campfire minion to anyone that wanted one.
There was a really cool moment where a huge double line of Paladins, far as my graphic card could handle, most wielding the Fortemps shield, all doing that tank move where the wings of light come out. Really pretty sight.
This is nice and touching, but why is it filmed like it was on a phone.

I literally had the quest to get the House Fortemps Knight title and was on my way to turn it in when I heard the news. I put that title on and joined the vigil for the next 5 hours. R.I.P. Stephen Critchlow.😌 <— (because a smile better suits a hero.)

it's really beautiful how the community came together across all the different servers for a memorial. i'm on cactuar and we all sat around the manor with campfires to pay our respects as well, rip<3
These sort of things work better in videogames without having to worry about the logistics of setting up a bunch of little fires and hoping none of them burn out early.
RIP the author of Heavensward book (whatever the title).
