Resistance Weapon FX Reimagined // Melee Showcase // FFXIV



Hello!

This is a showcase of my second set of mods for Final Fantasy XIV, for melee jobs.
Having gone through shadowbringers and all of the bozjan content there seems to be a general consensus (including mine) that the final resistance weapons looks underwhelming, especially the FX when compared to past relics such as the illustrious Lux weapons from Heavensward (insert something something level 60 award winning).

Therefore thanks for the amazing VFX Editor tool by ocealot and support from some of my fc mates i’ve decided to try and enhance the VFX of the final resistance weapon so they look like they each have unique job-related effects and worth the grind.

Basically what i did was keep the “cyber” feel of the weapon and merely exaggerated what i think the devs were trying to achieve uniquely with each weapon. More info on individual XMA Pages.
