  1. The context with the language used on this track is regarding how goblins in FFXIV speak (typically referred to as "Gobbie Speak").
The goblin Illuminati is trying to take control of Alexander and ensure goblin supremacy across time.

Also, The Primals basically play the entire Alexander boss music setlist at every live event somewhere in their concerts, though they tend to opt for the Brute Justice Mode of Metal.

  2. Metal is a fantastic song. It's goes so hard and we love it for it. The lyrics are odd because it's how the race called Goblins speak (you can see them as the squat long-eared humanoid creatures in the videos). They have a unique way of speaking, and the song is more or less supposed to be Goblins singing it about Alexander (who is their giant god Primal that's the size of a mountain and the raid wings are inside of).

It is such a fun song to learn the lyrics to and just sing along with.

  3. The lyrics roughly translated out of gobbie speak, for those curious.
(Note – "Human" in this game refers to all humanoid races, generally you specifically):

Snap click crank whirr whizz wham boom!
Our humming wheels sing of human doom!

Crack thoom snap bam bim bangy zoom!
Ah, crimson fire soon shall bloom (FOOM!)

Stop the confusing movements of the wicked
    Defuse, pop! Debone, slup! Deflate…

No more business for the wicked
Too late, far too late, far too late!

Wake the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Create the metal (doom goblin boom!)
Enfold the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Control the metal (doom goblin boom!)
Embrace the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Reraise the metal (doom goblin boom!)
Restore the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Live for the metal (doom goblin boom!)

Slap tick clank purr fizz blam crash!
    Bluehand back, humans bash! [Unsure]

Whack vroom clap slam zing spinny splash!
Soon, we dash towards our clash!

Caught in our own explosions, breaking our own necks
    Again and again and again!

Your doom by goblin hands, you shall meet your end
The end! Oh, the end! Yes, the end!

Wake the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Create the metal (doom goblin boom!)
Enfold the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Control the metal (doom goblin boom!)
Embrace the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Reraise the metal (doom goblin boom!)
Restore the metal (boom goblin doom!)
Live for the metal (doom goblin boom!)

  4. this song is honestly epic live. The vocals for these are Koji Fox, who's also the lead english translator or the game and a lore writer, and he gets so ridiculously in to it when he's on stage, it's quite infectious.

also, if you like it when Soken gets experimental : beauty's wick wiles

  5. Since you often bring up how you wanna watch some of these songs performed live, here's a link to the concert they held a couple months ago(timestamped to the part where they sing the three Alexander songs at 45:30). They also have a Long Fall and a couple other ones that you've reacted to. Note that because of the pandemic, they couldn't do it for a live audience, but it's technically still a live performance.
