truth be told, the Alexander fights are in fact tributes to Super Sentai (aka Power Rangers) and Transformers. The song that plays during the Brute Justice fight is literally a sentai style song and the various robots names (including Brute Justice) are homages to the Combiner "Bruticus" from early Transformers.
