I really want to love PvP but with the way the rewards are structured I am left bitter and resentful over being unable to obtain rewards I REALLY DO WANT. Eg: Season 18 armor. Let’s talk.

Rather than to continue being bitter about being unable to get this armor I figured I'd raise my concerns. I wanted that armor for my healers so bad. Sucks =/ 🍕🍕🍕

Whenever there is talk about rewards and loot especially in PvP I think a good case study to look at is Destiny 2, obviously it and FF are very different both in genre and philosophy (for example in destiny there is no deprecated content and everything even after updates stays "relevant" content) but the base principles are universal. What needs to be looked at is how destiny Changed, like we had many many different systems and revamps over the years, and there are still some of those old ones that perpetuate to this day and give you a very noticible comparison on how to better a system, knowing how much bungie could learn from square about improving their mmo systems, I think square wouldn't be mistaken in taking some inspiration from bungie in this particular case
My big brain idea to save PVP queues and rewards has always and will continue to be – allow us to buy Coolars for RIDICULOUS amount of Wolf Marks. Then allow us to buy this armor, glam weapons, and YEARS OKD FEAST MOUNTS with those Collars. Boom – queues never slow, grinders gonna grind

Glad i got mine, but the system is very flawed.
That being said, I wouldnt like them to he buyable. As the act of climbing in feast has been a long long time goal for players like me, who have been practicing to do this for a good while.
Rewarss going forward, sure. But the laat rewards should keep there exclusivity.
Abit off topic but speaking of old rewards, i think they are still cautious of the backlash from the white raven earings drama back then. Altho i think timed exclusivity + specific season title whould be neat , most top 100 mainstays play for the mode anyway and you still have time to flex. Like many suggested before me buying replicas with wolf collars whould make that currency more useable than now. Lets compare exclusivity to old ultimates, cause in a way its also timed for being easier due to potency , stat and ilvl adjustments.
I wished that general PVP reward gear you get with wolfsmarks wouldn't be class locked but instead lvl 1 gear you can use on every job. That would give people like me who run frontline every day something to spend the things on and mess around with glamour.
Yess I agree with you they really should release the past rewards because there really is no incentive for filthy casuals like me who knows they're never gonna get into the top 100 of feast to play PvP outside of getting the achievement mounts. Even if they make it so it takes a full week of playing only PvP to get them, anything is better than nothing. 😂
Might sound harsh but anyone who fails to describe something without using the term "badass" i quickly dismiss. The word is so over used and has lost any descriptive meaning and sounds like you have the lexicon of a 14 year old, please stop defaulting to calling every single thing badass it makes you sound extremely childish.
PVP sucks as a concept, is not need it in games!
On top of it already being difficult to get to top 100, it has become nearly impossible to get it due to multiple boosters and them using alts. It used to be much easier to get, i managed to get top 100 in feast for season 12, but in recent feasts it has gotten so crazy due to boosters cheating. There are so many websites selling feast boosts it is just sad that all these armors and mounts will never be obtainable.
Why not give the "winners" of ranking a dyable version and have an undyable version available for everyone that way everyone can have the glam ^^

I totally agree with you. In fact your proposal could bring more life in to PvP. Like this I dont even have the motivation to go in to in and improve.

I’d totally love something like that. I’ve never touched Feast but a token system would get me to join. I’d say the counter argument to that is that Wolf Seals and Achievement rewards already exist as a token based system. However, normal raids and savage raids exist side by side with their own unique token systems so 🤷♂️
Since I dislike PvP in ANY game… There is not much I could say about it. Some people enjoy it, hope that people get the kind of PvP that they want, someday.

PvP does have some cool looking gear sets. Shame it's obtainable only in PvP.
