btw when there is Job Class quests for your class available they appear under the Main Scenario Quest on the Top Left
Seems like you're having a good time 🙂
As a single tip, try to read the tooltips of your abilities. You unlock a lot of them as you go along, but the most important one I didn't see you use for now is your AOE ability. You can hit multiple enemies using Total Eclipse (you have it on '3'). More efficient the moment there's 3 or more enemies and it helps a lot in dungeons to keep the enemy focussed on you and not squishy healers or dps
When you were in the Hall of the Novice there was an NPC called "The Smith" you can talk to him to access training exercises that will teach you the basics of your role while in a party as well as give you a decent set of armor that's useful for the first few dungeons as well as a ring that gives you a good bonus to exp below level 30 on every class. You can repeat the activities on other jobs to learn more info and gain a total of 3 sets of armor.
I see you hit the enmity button (that you have binded on the "7" key here) repeatedly, it seems you misunderstood what it does. It's on /off stance toggle. When it's on you generate more aggro, until you turn it off. when it's off you generate the same amount of aggro/damage as a damage dealer, so since damage dealers do more damage than you, they'll get aggro instead of you.
It's not a "taunt" ability like you're using it. It should always be "on" when you want the mob to attack you, and only "off" when you want the NPC to tank or there's another tank (group of 8 players or more) tanking and you don't want to steal aggro.
You do have a taunt, it's on the ctrl+1 and called provoke. but just throwing a shield at the enemy that you just engaged (as long as you properly have the enmity stance turned on) is usually more than enough to aggro properly.
when there's 3+ enemy or in the engage if you want to grab the aggro of several enemies, just use your AoE attack at least once (and continue using it if there's 3+ enemies) on the engage, to grab aggro on everything in range at once.
So in that solo duty for example that you did here, it should have been "on" 100% of the time, and you should have greated every new pack of enemies with an aoe to avoid the NPC to take damage.
