  1. My boi… You absolutely MUST uninstall the add-ons. If, on the off chance someone from the dev crew sees your content, they have immediate grounds to ban you. Every time you open that menu, those two red marks at the top of the menu are all the proof they need.

Also, some random tidbits for you. Biggs is Scottish. You'll hear him speak later. Biggs and Wedge are a Star Wars reference and have shown up in many games in the FF franchise.

You can get bird armor (barding) from all over the game. There are some pretty cheap ones on the market boards under "Registered".

There is a quest at lv30 at Fallguard Float in the Black Shroud that let's you summon your bird as a battle companion in the open world. He gains exp also, and you can spec him as tank, heals, or deeps. Gain enough exp (like a seriously stupid amount), and you can even triple spec into all 3. Each time you master a spec, you get a barding that represents it (White Mage for heal, etc).

Leveling you bird past 10 requires you to have access to a stable. For that, you either need to own an apartment, own a house, or be part of a Free Company that owns a house. The stable gives you access to the training required to level past 10, as well as feeding your bird specific foods to change his color. There are whole guides dedicated to the calculations behind the color change.
