What started out as a way to challenge myself turned into a great experience.
It went from a simple challenge video and showing how I delt with it also showing how I go about my usual week in FFXIV.

they put a lot of detail into the world, seeing it in this perspective is the reason why i am playing through the story again
When I started my second character I decided to do all the MSQ like this. It is an interesting way to experience how back and forth some aspects of ARR is – I gave up somewhere in the 30s. I am about to start Stormblood on my 3rd character now so maybe doing that expansion with no etherite travel might be interesting, for the travel between both the areas.
Sometimes i took my camera closer to my character and walk around just to get a new perspective of the places, since I play with the max zoom-out
I believe you can stop your mount from going into fly when falling off a ledge or regular jumping by setting the fly option to only on double jumps.
That aside, I started doing this myself for similar reasons and I might just see myself doing it from now on as I find it very relaxing too.
