  1. To be frank, after testing it out in a duty just now the feel of PLD rotation isn't very different. The most significant change to feel for me is having to charge up Divine Might and getting that extra spell in.

  2. I don't think this rotation is correct. Requiscat gives Confiteor when it's activated not when it's removed.
New requiscat wants you to dump Confiteor combo in it. The only reason it still buffs holy spirit is so it works pre 90
You don't press holy spirit under requiscat, only under divine might
Confiteor combo loses more than half it's damage outside of requiscat

  3. I had some time to play when the new combo. This allows Holy Circle to be a good 3rd part to the usual 1-2 combo for mob pulling. Expiation and CoS can be part of a burst in a combo too. I assume it's better to use Holy Spirit for the Requiescat stacks because the potency is consistent instead of a ramp up like the Confiteor combo. Otherwise it would be better to use the Confiteor combo to use those stacks.

  4. Update: Disregard the rotation I suggested at the end of the vid lol. I started making this video just right after the PLD notes got released so I misunderstood some details and the notes weren't complete. I did say in the end I could be completely wrong since it was just surface-level speculation 😅

But now that I got to play and see the actual tooltips, it's clear that you need to dump all Requiescat stacks to Confiteor for max damage.

Divine Might gives buff and instacast to Holy Spirit/Circle, and you get that buff when you do the sword combo- so it means that you put some magic attack while doing the sword combos, while waiting for Req + Confi to be up again.

When we get the rotation down to a tea, we'll make a video focusing on the optimal rotation.

  5. It feels pretty much the same except filler melee rotation is worse, goring blade feels as pointless as sonic break, and the magic phase is shorter but spread throughout the rotation

  6. So far I'm very pleased with the fact in being able to align with raid buffs and all my big abilities are affected by FoF. Maybe the off cd looper feels a lil bit underwhelming but it's kinda comparable to gnb's 123 so I kinda accepted as is.

  7. My only issue with PLD now is the fact we now have an extra button to press. I have a 3rd crossbar for PLD, and i hate it so much. Otherwise, I think the new rework is pretty neat over all. And the new Divine Veil is soooooo good.
