  1. I've played since 1.0 – that game was ROUGH, the lag was so unreal, the UI was awful, and I was in the closed alpha through the end of 1.0; still play FFXIV but it's MUCH more enjoyable now under Yoshida's guidance

  2. I played 1.0, my miqo is still around with the nifty back tattoo. Though for all the missteps, I enjoyed the fishing, if only they would add it to Gold Saucer like they did with the 1.0 mining/botany as mini-game machines.

  3. I was not here at the end of 1.0 but I was here for the end of another MMO that didn't had the chance to get a rework : Tabula Rasa. That was something!

  4. Hi, 1.0 player, how many 1.0 vets you run into in game also depends on the server you are on. You will find more on Legacy Servers, such as Sargatanas on Aether (Data Center), where I am. Some have changed data centers/worlds over the years to be with friends or different communities. But a lot stay on their legacy server, like myself, because we got our player house during 2.0 when the player base was much smaller, and I don't want to re-enter the housing market again. In case you didn't know, legacy characters have a tattoo on their upper back.
