Ehhhh you finally got Thordan. Nice. I can't wait to see your reactions to the post HW patches. 3.3 especially. In case no one told you already, this fight is also a massive reference to FF7. They love throwing out things like this. Someone has likely already mentioned that the Primals you fight are usually based on Summons from older FF games like Ifrit and Shiva. There are some new and unique ones to 14 (eg Bismark and Ravana). This one though, the final boss of the 3.0 story is one of the reference primals. It is called Knights of the Round. Here is a comparison video for your viewing pleasure my friend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8NFbSytZhw&pp=ygUkZmYxNCBrbmlnaHRzIG9mIHRoZSByb3VuZCBjb21wYXJpc29u
How many times we gotta teach you this lesson old man >:O
highest tier of this fight would be "dragonsong's reprise" the ultimate fight, i recommend you stick to the extreme
the ultimate is regarded as one of the most challenging fight ever made
I don't know if anyone mentioned Thordan is the current Unreal fight. For Unreal they cycle through revamping old fights to max lvl (90 right now) and adjust it to be as difficult as it was on release but in current times; same mechanics, no adjustments other than HP/damage scaling. I farmed Thordan EX to death when it came out and I did the Unreal recently and it felt just as awful and fun as the old HW version when it came out. I could spend forever doing it! ♥
