  1. Had a group once with GNB tank and a new comer tank. Gnb said he'd MT and when he took the first hit he used superbolide (drops you to 1 hp and makes you invuln for 6 seconds), then immediately dropped the invuln buff so he got "1 shotted". It was beautiful.

  2. I still can't believe we survived that first pull. SO clutch with the healer LB3 at 7% HP. You picked up the trial really quickly, and we were all VERY impressed! Good job and well done!

Hopefully we can help you through more of these tough fights in the future! o7

  3. This has been a thing since at least StormBlood. It was done in HW times as well but it was as popular a joke then like it is now.

Also as far as Gaius being honorable that Rhitahtyn mentioned, that is is in truth. To give an example 1.0 Gaius actually was against the White Raven's plan to bring down Dalamud. Though he couldn't use his army to fight against Nael van Darnus since that would effectively be going against his orders and his empire. However he did not bar the Eorzean armies or the Circle of Knowing (basically now the Scions) from fighting that legion. If you recall in the 2.0 opening, he's there watching overhead as the armies fight against the VIIth Legion. He also does not like to move unless he can more or less overwhelm his opponent because he wants casualties to be minimum. However, even as a man with honor, in the end he is still trying to conquer and subjugate Aldenard and Vylbrand for the empire, which is where you come in naturally. 😀
