I think Xenos is more of a Yandere Character than tsundere.

Going into the game I always heard arr was going to be 'bad' or 'weak' in gameplay and story.
But I loved it, so much to do and most of it was unique content. As slow as the msq was I still enjoyed it for the most part.
Granted I haven't even started post arr msq, been doing all the blue quest unlocks (just finished coils the other day unsynced for the story) and still having a blast
The only downside to spreading the good word of our lord and savior Shadowbringers, is that it continues to bring a lot of people in that just want to "get to the good parts" and seemingly go into the base game (ARR) with the expectation that it's bad/boring vs. going in with an open mind. As I've told many people before since the Shadowbringers influx, it's not that ARR is bad/boring; you just want to get to what you been hearing about and looking at in the trailers (even though you know you probably shouldn't be watching them lol). This unfair tailored expectation from the start is what seems to cause many of the new folks to be unjustifiably impatient from what I can tell.

Zenos will had been my favorite if was a woman not a male…
While I'm in the minority, I really enjoyed ARR after the revamp they did for it in August of 2020. Not only does ARR feel like a realistic beginning for an adventurer (killing basic enemies and doing simple fetch quests across the beautiful forest of Gridania while full of optimism), it's cute, wholesome, and feels very JRPG. It's the right expansion to start with to lead them into the darker Heavensward and what it means to be a hero; then, the breath of fresh air that is the wistful Stormblood, and the return to the dark reality of the universe that is Shadowbringers.
But I do agree Stormblood was weaker then Heavensward. If SE had simply abandoned the whole revolution and lyse arc/plot, and simply had Stormblood revolve around the mystery of finding Shinryu and why Omega disappeared so suddenly after such an amazing battle, it could have been the expansion of mystery that complemented the urgent rescuing of the other expansions. While some rewriting would be necessary for this, I don't think it'd be that hard to do so.
I didn't level up Dragoon at HW… Feeling bad now! 🙁

ARR for me and everyone of course is the lesser one but I think that some people call it bad cuz they compare with the HW/ST/ShB me included but when I did holy shit o love it so fucking much (but not 95% of the post ARR filler) I even remember the chill when Lahabread said: Unleash Ultima jeez
