  1. Love the glam 😘

About the pet peeves… The aggro ping pong. Especially since the tanks that are doing it all seem to be really bad. I had a few ar runs where the two other tanks fought about aggro just to die tobsimple mechs and me having to use all the aggro to get the boas back off the raid.

  2. 1:19 — Also, RNG isnt even a thing in the new raids: if you had your item for the week, thats it. Even if everyone else passes on loot, you wont anything if you had your one-piece-per-week. And stalling your roll just pisses everybody off. Thats not even a pet peeve, thats simply and downright trolling.

I guess I'm one of those who try to save a run XD At least solong anyone with a raise is still alive… or if the boss is below 5% … You never know if you might just do it XD

  3. As a tank main I kinda have to admit that my biggest pet peeves is when the healers wait till your hp is almost empty before they actually heal you. Now don't get me wrong, I understand how healers operate. I know that a healer's job isn't to keep me at 100% and that as long as I'm alive they're doing their job right. No what makes this a pet peeves is that if my health drops less than 25% I gotta start panicking and decide whether or not I gotta use my invulnerability. I can't tell you how many times I trusted the healers then died from not using invulnerability as well as times I unnecessarily used invulnerability at low hp only for it to go to waste and then I die before it resets. I never blame anyone for this it just drives me insane when it happens

  4. I guess some of my pet peeves are
    1) someone using all one color for an outfit that has no contrasting undyable bits – or overusing metallic dyes
    2) someone playing a job i like very badly (to where i can tell by simply watching them…) – pre EW i saw multiple smns using titan through out whole dungeons
    3) excessive macros. Almost nothing that isn't a raise needs to be communicated. Bonus shame points for sound effects.
Cute pictures at the start/end? Fine! But i once saw an astro who had a macro for playing cards, stating the playee had a gambling problem… Thankfully, this was qarn, so they were new, and i was able to politely inform them that that was probably going to annoy a lot of people in the future if they kept that.
    4) leaping to blame others as if a simple mistake was a malicious attack done completely on purpose. People screw up sometimes. As long as it isn't a constant problem, there's no harm done. This is a game after all, no need to attack people over a brief lapse in judgement or fat-fingering a skill.

  5. Moving after rezzing someone gets me everytime, especially if they see a giant aoe coming in and they move quickly before getting healed only to get hit makes me think "I wasted my mana for this?". One pet peeve of mine would be when a tank does a big pull in higher level dungeons and doesn't use arm's length for the slowed attack speed on mobs, I understand if people playing tanks for the first time don't understand the use for it aside from the knockback resistance. But when it comes to the lvl 80-90 dungeons it becomes a struggle trying to keep the tank alive since they either popped all their mitigations in their first big pull and then the next one comes and then I'm stuck trying to keep their health around or above 50% since they are taking damage at a fast rate. (guess it also kinda calls out another pet peeve of tanks using all their mits all at once, rather than using them at different times. It bothers me since I'm a tank main haha)

  6. #1 you'd be somewhat wrong about. All computer RNG is tied to something, in FFXIV's case it's tied to the clock most likely, so moment to moment your RNG is different because the clock is. However, the rest is valid.

  7. Pet peeves huh?

-People joining parties and plopping down their own markers. If you are joining someone's party, they get to use their markers unless they ask someone else for theirs. If you want to use your own set of markers make your own party, simple. If I'm in somebody else's party I have forfeited all right to marker placement or strat decision.

-Speaking of which… whining that the party is not using a specific strat that you are comfortable with and trying to get the party to use a different strat. If you join a party with posted strats, you knew what you were getting into, make your own party if you want to use your own strats.

-People joining parties that have not read the PF description, then confused about why 7 other people are using a different strat.

-Ranged that do not move out of melee range for spread mechanics.

-Tanks that provoke late (at the end of a castbar or after the castbar ends). Please voke early, your cotank DOES still have to shirk you.

-Off-Tanks that forget tank stance after the opener (RIP every melee that has died to Synergy and Dispersed Aero)

-Green DPS Healers that try to chad their cohealer (zero healing healers)

-People that cannot greed responsibly (i.e. people that have a lack of understanding of when things snapshot and are not consistent enough to have a system for greeding properly and just go for an extra GCD that they have no idea will work or not)

-Tanks not using their cooldowns against trash mobs in dungeons, and if they do, just panic dumping them when they realize they're below half health. Please pop your cooldowns before you start getting hit, thank you.

-Speaking of dungeons, not using LB in them. Whether you're a ranged/caster using it on a pack of trash mobs or a melee using it on a boss, just use it.

-Healers that do not press buttons outside of healing buttons. When I see a healer that is doing literally nothing but standing there waiting for the tank to take damage before casting a single Cure I. No dots, no AOE, nothing. This causes me physical pain.

-More dungeon stuff, but people that do not use their AOE abilities. Just makes the dungeon go slower and strains tank and healer resources. This is particular aggravating when tanks don't use their AOE abilities to pick up a pack of mobs and proceed to shield lob/tomahawk/unmend/lightning shot each mob individually.

-Even more dungeon stuff: People coming into dungeons with extremely poor gear. I have seen people in level 90 dungeons with full level 80 tome gear way more often than I should. You are guaranteed a piece of gear for the job you are playing to drop at the end of every dungeon run, just equip it.

Honestly the list is pretty extensive now that I think about it, much much longer than what I've posted here =/ I've been playing this game too long.

  8. Biggest pet peeve as a casual content consumer is ranged dps not using the LB when it's ready in dungeons (I play healer). I'll insta comm a ranged DPS that uses LB on trash packs (FYI ranged DPS players)

  9. My two major pet peeves are: 1.) Dragging mobs out of Doton/Slipstream/ANY damage ground AoE put down by a teammate. Nothing gets under my skin more than patiently waiting for a tank to complete their mass pull only to put down my AoE and then move AGAIN. 2.) Trying to adjust when you have a marker instead of just letting other people adjust around you. Unless your marker is something that is going to kill EVERYONE, plant yourself in one spot and let others look out for YOU. It really irritates me to get murdered by someone with an AoE marker who is constantly trying to reposition because I can't escape them. I've gone out of my way as a caster dps to be near no one only to get dive bombed by someone who walks away unscathed while I drop dead.

  10. I figured these would be funny or petty (or memey) but for each one I was just thinking about how annoying these are.

I could comment on all of them, but I'll mention the one that annoys me most. If I swift cast a raise and someone immediately dies again, they're not getting another raise until swiftcast is back up. I might make an exception in the EX trials or something, but if it's a dungeon? I will 100% just laser spam rather than an 8 second hard cast. Gives them time to think about what they did
