Wholly agree with Gaijin's frustrations with the game in ARR specifically. I just hope he takes it to heart that ARR is nothing more than back and forths running, and just accept that for what it is. and focuses on the story and the characters.

Its so fun listening to Gaijin talk about starting xiv. I know the big thing is like 'oh arr isnt great you just have to push through it,' but going back on a new character to play from the beginning after finishing endwalker, I've been having a ton of fun. I know some of it is nostalgia and knowing whats coming, but having to slow travel everywhere with no gil, meeting characters, and doing chores- the game does a great job making you feel like a living part of this world that matters, even before greatness finds you and I'm excited to hear Gaijins future thoughts and experiences

Concerning the emote thingy tho: As far as I remember, the /doubt is even written in the quest short text on the quest list. I can't remember any time that wasn't the case. (And yes, it is written in the chat window as system message too. :D")
