  1. My hurdle is that I cannot find a static to try getting into harder content. Party Finder feels like spending hours waiting for everyone to catch up to you only for them to all bail and you have to start over again. All the statics recruiting want me to be a top 1% parse and I don't even use damage meters. I just focus on my rotation and learning mechanics and I think I am a pretty fast learner but it's not enough to get me into a static to challenge myself. It's been really disheartening and it might be what prevents me from continuing to play the game :/

  2. I caught the 2nd half of this episode live yesterday, and I gotta say… I love Rin! I bet he'd be great to raid with. Every team should have that person that just adjusts their energy to the group to create a lower stress environment. Plus, he just has a calming voice lol

  3. PSA in regards to ultimate raiding in crystal:Stay far far away from UCR and NuCR

Both of these discords are now ruled by cliques who have nearly killed the ultimate pugging scene on crystal

Theyre full of harassers who will publicly shame you for mistakes on their general chat, they will label a person a trap for one bad day of raiding and will tell all their cliques to avoid you,and they also allow transphobic people in because they do not care about the well being of the raiders who joined in.

They also stole their strats from UPR and claimed it as their own and they have such an ego that they make people now fill in a """carry form""""

There are better ways to pug ultimates on crystals such as the newly established crystal raiding academy discord so if you can i recommend giving CRA more spotligjt for crystal raiding than UCR/NuCR

  4. I like the look of the weapons, not sure i'd use the title a bit too "look at me" for my taste and achieves are alright I guess but I'm not sure I'd ever supremely get my mains rotation that down plus I 99% solo the game, I avoid people, keep chat closed lol so pretty sure i'll never see and ultimate.

  5. A thing to note when watching any video/guide is that you are seeing the perspective of the entire fight from all angles, Tanks/healer/DPS (range/melee) so it looks more intimiating than it actually is, in reality you only responsible for YOUR specific role mechanics, don't worry about the sh**t show that is going around the entire arena, focus on what YOU have to do not on what other roles have to do and it becomes much less intimating .

  6. I've done very little raiding in ffxiv, but I have a friend who is very hardcore. He's put together a group of friends with myself and couple other new players to raiding and the rest are a mixed group of experience. The main point was to do UCoB while being nice to each other and having fun. We started last week and are now currently proging nael!

  7. commenting because frosty said that he reads all the comments, and I do agree that it is masochistic. I want to thank you, you masochist, for mogtalk. I like listening to it once in a while. First thing I watched, like complete 100% attention was the interview with TPS after their TEA clear. It was really enjoyable, and so, here I am. Watching mog talk 😀
