I’m not surprised we didn’t see her, tbh. All the primals used to power Ragnarok were summoned by the Beast Tribes specifically, whereas Shiva was summoned by Ishgardian “heretics” amidst the Dragonsong War. On top of that, these are gods vs. a dead historical Ishgardian figure. Given Ysayle’s tragic end, I feel like it would’ve been seen as poor taste by many of the characters to try and summon her “iteration” of Shiva, especially with the knowledge that it wasn’t even the actual Saint like they initially thought, but something entirely different altogether (as Hraesvelgr revealed when Ysayle claimed to be connected to Shiva through summoning her). But that’s just my thoughts/theory on the matter! Hope you’re enjoying the story so far ^^
We saw Ysayle in the Aitiascope, in that instance it was actually Ysayle and not a creation magick and I feel that is more respectful to her character and her agency.

Have you gotten to the patch quests? Trust me!! Just continue! I will not spoil. There is an explanation though.
