These videos are really informative and fun to watch as a new player and during the quiet periods its great to set goals and achievements in FFXIV. I personally really want to try the blue mage achievements after watching this!
What achievement or title are you trying to get right now, or what has been the hardest to get for you? I’m sure there’s a necromancer out there somewhere 😀

Im a pretty try hard BLU with 4 of the achievements. Im on Aether tho so I think that doesn't work?
As someone who plays A LOT of mahjong outside of FFXIV, can confirm that originally I created an account just to play the FFXIV version and teach folks how to play, rather than use sites like tenhou (back then when it was released in game, there really were not many good mahjong sites/games/whatever in English. I can manage with the Japanese UI's of Japanese sites, but that made it hard to teach others.) The FFXIV version of mahjong is nice to look at and the UI is intuitive. The tutorialization is also surprisingly good (albeit I still think one would have to look into rules, the yaku etc.) outside of the game or have someone explain the rules while playing.
I truly love the game, I am not good by any means so I cannot even fathom getting a high rank (and I haven't played FF in a while now. Monthly subscription started to cause digestion problems on my poor wallet. 😄)
Even in Yakuza-games (which also tend to have Mahjong, but also Shogi and I think some of them even have Go, as minigames.) I probably have more time on those than the main story of the games themselves.
But yeah, if I were to go for any of the titles on the list, it would probably be the mahjong one, coupled with the one that included things in the golden saucer.
As someone who runs solo Palace of the Dead attempting to get the Necromancer title; It's not that hard and really braindead (kinda) until Floor 150.
plus I'm 14 attempts in and I can get back to 150 in around 7h every time and without too much issues (I say as I last died to floor 100 boss, I tried a new strategy, didn't work out ^^' )
Now I also run Duo run with a friend and we're having lots of fun. While I run solo some myself 🙂

I'm a Mahjong Master
I have Azure and Omega title. I was the healer in our group of Blue Mages and it almost destroyed our friendship. What's so different about Blue Mage raid from others is the game classify Blue Mages as any role. That means mechanics that were meant for healers can happen to anyone in a Blue Mage raid. This means you will have to learn every single mechanics for every role for that savage. Basically, you will need to have a deeper understanding of every role in FFXIV. Once you have this title, it does signify that you are master class Blue Mage. And you can definitely tell the difference between a casual Blue Mages and those that have the title. The power difference between those people is insanely different.
I've made it to 176 of Palace of the Dead solo. I'm working hard on Necro. I stream my progress daily. It's tough
I have the necromancer title. It took a month of only doing PotD to finally get it.
The hardest parts are the bosses on floor 180 and 190. Which take about 15 hours to get to!!
So you spend all that time to get to the bosses guarding the gates of heaven haha.
Can’t wait to clear the newest ultimate. That title is gonna be a flex. Wanna get the blue mage one. Cleared tea last year, working on ucob now. Then back to uwu. I will never get potd title. It’s not fun alone and way to long and tense.
I thought "Big Fish" was gonna be in the list. (That's the title for catching all the big fish in the game, excluding ocean fishing.) I guessed wrong. I guess it pales in comparison to those ocean fishing behemoths, huh?
One of my FC mates is going for Hand of Creation, just been crafting the entire time they've been online for days now.
My necro nercord is 178 solo; I used a pommander of alteration on 177, and on 178 the entire cairn of return room was active mimics. Popped everything but couldn't get through, and haven't had the heart to try again.
oh hey, im glad he uses lalaachievements. ive been using that for years. i have 8 of these titles, they're super fun. im currently ranked number 5 on my server, top 5 on my data center and 20 in the world.
1.) the easiest of these is probably azure and omega, cause if you have 4/5 really good blue mages, you can carry 3/4 other blue mages.
2.)hand of creation isnt hard its just tedious, you can probably just do 5 crafts a day and be done in about 3 months nowadays. (also the video calls it the crafting god title, but thats not true, the real crafting god title would be "the undefatigable"
3.) necromancer is 100% the hardest title he brought up.(took me 3 years of learning to get it. but hoarder took me years. i just farmed floors 1-10 and just did 20 a day.
4.) mahjong master is rare cause no one plays mahjong (you were right in your video XD) i just played with 4 friends a few games a day took me 2 weeks to get it.
5.) high roller, yea its not win 1 million at once, its culminative. you get about 3k per week if you last place every time, so it takes years, i got mine about a year ago. got lucky and won the 2nd place twice. i have a friend who won the 1st place 4 times (he's actually the number 1 achievement hunter in the world as of this comment)
6.) master of the sea is a joke to get if you know the point values and just go for during a shark route. world class troller took me awhile, 3 months of doing 4/5 boats a day. the real big dick fishing title is big fish title. thats for catching every single big fish in the game.
7.) the hunt master title for the S rank is the most time consuming title in the game, hands down. i know ppl that conduct trains that havent gotten this. this is the only title i dont have yet on the list, but im at 3.5k S ranks
8.) the PVP one i dont have either i know a few alpha wolves and ravenous wolves, but i just choose to not hunt for the pvp achievements yet (its my biggest gap of what im missing in terms of achievments)
9.) luckiest of ladies is hands down the rarest title in the game. hoooolly shit is this one rare, we have a special discord where people will look for map groups and whenever someone says they have thf's map. people fight for a slot in that party.
But how many people managed to become Odin in the Shroud? 🙂
i've been slowly chipping away at world-class troller on and off for nearly a year. i might have had it by now if i was more consistent with it, but i usually go for multiple days where i catch almost every boat i can, and then i stop for weeks at a time. just need another 700k points and im finished with it, but ill still need to go ocean fishing if i cant complete the log for those zones before i get it. i also find it kind of hard to believe that the big fish title is more common than world-class troller, the conditions and time that some of the big fish spawn during are already ridiculous, and even if you are there to catch the fish when it spawns, there is still a chance that you might not be able to catch it anyway. both are fun little challenges and a decent pass time while waiting for your raid group to get on or if you have nothing else to do in the game.
Also, i know a blu mage who wants to do the raid ones!

Mahjong looks harder to learn than it is. Mastering it though definitely is hard. It's super fun though.
I’m aiming for the Big Fish title. It requires catching 204 unique big fish from the source and 45 unique big fish from the first.
Both the fishing titles are super easy to get now at level 90 with triple hook. 20K is pretty easy to average but the 3 million is a long grind but still rather simple.
