Quazii makes a bet in reaction to his FF14 sleep-deprived MSQ binge sessions for Shadowbringers and Endwalker.

  1. I have msq rules that I only do 2-3 hrs a day because I also do side quest along the way. I want give myself time to digest the story. This also mean I have to play with shout/yell/say/ls/ fc chat all off. It's slower but I get take in lore at my own pace. Busy status up too for the random friends asking a spoilers question. This play style developed over the years been playing since ps3 beta.

P.s good luck on staying lala

  2. I don't know, as someone that basically lived Endwalker for 3 consecutive days, I personally feel like being sleep deprived made the emotional moments way stronger. Also, I tried sleeping before the Zodiark trial, when there were no healers, and I legitimately was so excited I couldn't. TBF though, I did end up getting some sleep because the Sharlayan post Elpis section was slow enough that I was able to go to bed.

  3. I still just hated EW. It took me like 2 weeks to finish it and I just did not like EW. It just wasn't fun. There was hardly any fighting and you mostly went from here to there. It was nearly on par with ARR for me. All other expansions were great.

  4. Notice how he said he wouldnt play as a Lala, but never said that it was on his main account? I smell a weaseling out on a wording technicality making it so he meant on any NEW characters he makes 😁😆😂

  5. I played a lot during launch but I did sleep for sure. It was at wierd hours but I slept. Usually I'd wake up at like 4 or 530am and then play until i felt myself nodding off at which point I'd sleep for 4 or 5 hrs and do it all again until I finished. I think I ended up finishing on like day 3 or so.

  6. This is an issue I noticed. I have watched MANY streamers do endwalker, but they started endwalker since even before getting on the Ultima, their exhaustion UNMEASURABLE — which 100% of streamers i watched, none of them reacted 100% or appreciated content 100% by exhaustion, where some were on verge of passing out and that's more loss than anything else. Hope you set an example.
If I may suggest: personally I do MSQ every 3 levels. So, 80-83, 84-86, 87-89 (here I know there will be the final dungeon and once I reach MSQ level 90, I STOP) because the next day I do entire 90…….and finish. In meanwhile when do 81-83 etc, I do the side quests of each zone OR blue quests, explore, take my time. So it takes me 1~2 weeks to finish MSQ, well rested, happy. I take also many SS!!

  7. While others start with No-shave-November, you immediately go for risking a No-shave-Expansion. Is it too late for you to switch to "stay Lala but having to wear that silly Wolf Glamour from the Stormblood Hildy Quests"?

  8. hahahah do what I did, it worked for me:

I wake up at 7am everyday until I finish the msq (even the first day) at this time varely will be people trying to log in because everyone will be sleeping as they might ended playing at 3am or something or they are preparing to go to work. So no large queues and then you don't log off, try everything to not log off XD (eat while playing, bath fast and so XD)

Finish playing the msq at 12am and then go to sleep and wake up 7am next day, repit this until msq is finish.

You will have enought sleep, no rage for queues and the msq will be more enjoable as you will be in all your senses 😀

  9. Thanks to the Server Queue, I could only play from 11 pm to 12 am or 1 am during weekdays. So it took me 2 weeks and 2 days to finish Endwalker.
Cleared most Sidequests and Big Fates, too. Had at the End a lvl 90 Whitemage and Paladin, due to the massive amount of Xp.

Only letdown for me were the Lopporit as their Story were would have never played out because MMORPG. In a Solo RPG this would have been more impactful.

  10. Female hrothgar huh? I do hope they turn up good. Though going by what the bunboys turned up to look like, we should expect quality models.

And do take care of yourself when ever the next expansion comes out. While it's fun to see someone react to the brand new MSQ, your health is a LOT more important! The last thing we want is to see you faint live on stream.

  11. Same here, Quazii. I will definitely, DEFINITELY pace myself and slowly enjoy the MSQ, savoring every moment for as long as I can. I will definitely not go crazy on it because I'm absolutely hooked and can't put it down. We can do this! *huff*

  12. Honestly Quazzi, I did from start point to trial. I ended every day with a trial. Took three days and I had a blast. Only about 12h days. Though I will say I was getting tired by the 10h mark. The final trial took 3 attempts because I was just exhausted from the story and the journey itself. It was 930 am when I cleared it.

I mean, the story asked me three separate times if it was worth it and every time in my head I was yelling back "F yeah it was"

Yoshi P- master of emotional damage.

Outside of Nier, not many games have touched me as much as 14. God Nier Automata is such a beautiful game.

You have to go female miquote. Fit right in Limsa.
