So you didn’t think you could play some of the most popular multiplayer games in the world on a Mac, let alone on the brand new M1 Max chip? In this video I benchmark 10 online multiplayer games working on the new M1 Max 10 CPU, 32 GPU, 32 GB RAM and the results are amazing!

After some suggestions I’ve deiced to benchmark in 1440p which is far closer to native resolution than my previous 1080p recordings, I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Would be interested in a part 2. Maybe try Final Fantasy XI? Just interested if it can be played on a m1 in general without a private server or if playonline would even work. Thanks for these videos.

  2. I'm the author of FF14 on Mac CX guide, if you're up for trying we provide full support for both Mac and Windows licenses on M1 Apple computers. M1 users are seeing upwards of doubling of fps in Final Fantasy 14 after using our guide. You can find the guide on my latest video on my account with the guides website in description. Best of luck!

  3. later ffxiv content would be great. Also, if you're using free trial, you should be able to test both Mac and windows versions without buying either license(buying one will lock you from the other, unless you buy licenses for both)

  4. wow i'm impressed by how bad performances are … at this price it's almost catastrophic …. take the new razer blade, it can run all those games with at least 5 times the amount of FPSs … sure it's a gaming oriented laptop , but we're talking about two laptops that have an active cooling so i can't give apple a pass on how low perf are.
