Rewatching all this, while knowing the story up to current content really reminds me of so many little things I seemingly missed or forgot about.

Seriously, my first time going through the story, when they tossed the eyes off the bridge, I was like "Wait no wtf destroy them! Smash them! Why would you just throw them off a bridge you idiots!?" Even without anyone spoiling it for me, I just knew that was going to come back to bite us in the ass. Still, that fight (Final Steps of Faith) is to this day my favorite fight in the game. The cutscenes right before it, then the fight, and the cutscenes after… combined with all the build-up from all of Heavensward and even pre-HW… it was just so incredibly epic. Shadowbringers had a better story overall, but nothing tops the Final Steps of Faith for me.

Ummm actually Yda Hext was in 1.0 not as a disguised Lyse either. The accounts state that Lyse took up the mantle of Yda after her untimely death when members of the Circle of Knowing attempted to help conquered Ala Mhigans across the bored into Gridiania. This even occurred years after Minfilia started the group that would reveal gifted adventurers with powers of echo that would go on to fight in the battle at Carteneau flats.
The Ala Mighan raid happened after the disappearance of the 1.0 warriors of light but before the start of 2.0 to which there was a 5 year gap.
I totally missed the egg in the Sky. I guess I never looked up.
