  1. A few takeaways that I had:
The music at the beginning of the trailer is a remix of the "City of Troia" music from FF4.

Troia was a city led by a council of female clerics. I am guessing that the person being stabbed by Scarmiglione (Milon if you're old) is one of the now void corrupted clerics given that the dungeon being added is the "Fel Court of Troia" with "court" generally meaning the seat of leadership.

I do like the idea that the reaper could be a freed version of the Zenos avatar. Rather than a warding scale though, that could be what we use the crystal of light for. She may have formed a pact with a person on the source to look for heroes to help save the 13th, hence the "And thus I am returned, to this world bereft of saviors". Allso, when Fandaniel asked Zenos if he had picked a weapon yet in Endwalker he said "There is one I have been meaning to try". I wonder if the scythe had been in the Galvus family for generations and it was possibly tied to that specific voidsent. Maybe it originally belonged to Zenos' suspicious and mysterious great grandfather?

The Lahabrea crystal being red is (my guess) being due to the Lahabrea in Pandaemonium not being the Lahabrea we know. Likely Erichtonios will take his father's seat. Also, the crystals we know, per the story when we get them, weren't created until the time between the final days and the summoning of zodiark so it can't be the same crystal.
I'm guessing the shot where it looks like Lahabrea is shattering his "mask" is actually him breaking the red crystal and releasing his "madness".

  2. If you're willing to take suggestions for future lore topics, can you do a video on how much power the sultana actually has. Supposedly, the syndicate holds all the power, and that she's just a figurehead, but there's a weird disconnect on that portrayal. After she finds her conviction in 3.x, the few times she shows up after, she's commanding the syndicate members and their subordinates. Granted, this is in response to a crisis and she does acknowledge that the moneterists members be allowed to profit to a certain degree from the ordeal, so they may just be being practical and letting her do her leadership role. The royalists are just loyal to the sultanate, so by default they would obey her; Raubahn being an example of this. She also has a small fortune at her disposal and in Ul'dah, gil = power. So it might not be as much as say Lolorito, but she still uses it for things like building the goldsmith school in Ala Mihgo.

In real life, despite appearing like a figurehead, Queen Elizabeth still actually holds some power over the UK and the commonwealth. Both the UK and the commonwealth nations recognize her/the monarchy as the head of state, it's just being run by a prime minister for each country. They are ad-ministrating for her. The UK prime minister is actually an appointment by the monarchy, it's just in recent history, the monarchy has allowed the popular vote to dictate who the prime minister is. She can declare war, legitimize law with her royal assent, is the head of the armed forces, etc.
