  1. Gosh I can't wait to finish the post Shadowbringers and start Endwalker. In the meantime, I placed my like and saved the video on my watch later list! I can't wait to check them out after finishing this amazing adventure! Thank you as always NSP!😁🤩💞🙌🏽

  2. Playing through Endwalker I had those amazing FFish feelings like back in the days. Feelings of a true adventure, love for the characters and world, the music…..hopefully this will continue with FF16. 🙏🏻

  3. Youtube keeps recommending me playthroughs from WoW refugees that have zero history or love for Final Fantasy and its nice to see someone actually get it. If only more of the FF community could play FFXIV.

  4. Man, I finished EW last week and I thank you SO much for motivating me to try this game out a few months ago, NSP! Best FF since FFIX! Such a great story and so curious about where it's going next!

  5. The choice to have Nidhana use of the term "great work" to describe their work on the talismans is quite intentional and significant, I think.

In "historical" alchemy, the Great Work (or Magnum Opus in Latin) is the term for the process required to create the ultimate goal of alchemy, the philosopher's stone, which was thought to be able to transmute metals into gold and create the elixir of life for immortality.

In FFXIV, alchemy is far advanced thanks to aether, but there are many other materials worth far more than gold in the game, as well as other avenues to take to achieve some form of immortality. The greatest problems facing Eorzea and the other continents (in this story arc at least) really stem from the primals, rooted in the machinations of the Ascians.

So, again, I think it is very intentional and significant that Nidhana refers to the talismans as their "great work", the very peak of alchemy, which can be used to negate the effects of the primals, the greatest danger in their world. Seems fitting that they achieve their magnum opus in this final story of the Hydaelyn/Zodiark arc, where primals will (in theory) cease to have significant influence on the world.
